Game at the end is buggy, its not taking you back to the base and just freezing, this happened 1st time on release week, and now 2nd time few month later in 2 play through hosted by 2 different players.

Stalker 2 is here....15 years later.

37 hours into the game, and at the time of this (final) review of mine the game version is 1.1.2.
Here is my full review of Stalker 2:

First and foremost, the game is STILL a Stalker game, yeah even after all these years.
that is a good sign for the good old Stalker fans, still its modern enough for the young gamers jumping into the zone for the first time.

Graphic is impressive for an a game of this size/caliber, yes you need a good PC, but you are not playing fall guys... so yeah. on my rig of 3080 10gb, I7 12700k, and 32gb of DDR4 rams im getting around 80 fps on average and dips into the 40s in really populated areas, using high preset @1440p

game had kinda rough first month of release, not game breaking in my case, but few crashes bugs, and performance was worse on day 1.

story is goody gooody so far even when im not done with main quest, even side quest can be actually interesting.

sound is good, good enough for such game, and plays a role into making the world lives up and put you into the atmosphere (was kinda buggy at release tho with some audio overlap and cutout)

gameplay.... this is the bread and butter, you like FPS, Horror, survival, puzzles, and story telling, then you are home.... Stalker 2 is addictive, just like how Stalker 1 was kinda back in 2007, do i dare to say its even more since the world is much bigger and flashed out thx to 2024 hardware.

A-Life 2.0 was almost non existing on release, now its there after patch 1.1, and its only gonna get better from here on.

final rating for the game is 83/100

Yeah.....it will probably fulfill your expectations for a survival crafting game.

So far i would have given this game a 8.6/10 if not for 2 things:

1-A strange bug (if you use the recommended Dualsenes controller by Sony) the game audio will be lower than normal. its still not patched which is bizarre cause this game support haptic feedback. so Sony made their controller as the best way to play the game, then also ignored a bug for more than a month now.

2- Sony decided to block selling the game in may countries where they dont have Playstation network support. Bruh.... its mainly a single-player game, so either support more regions, or dont force the damn thing. we are talking about MANY countries outside of support....

Rating therefore will be 8/10. Great game, surrounded by stupid decisions and a tiny but impactful bug.

So hear me out on this one.

Ready or Not as a concept is good, the game itself is also good generally, but the flaws are big and there is a red flag indications, game is badly optimized, stutter, frame timing is out of whack...... settings in the menus are not working (ex: Nvidia Reflex is not working at all and is just a toggle that do nth) same apply to the flashlight reflection thingy....
Also the game had more scenarios in beta that were suddenly removed in Full release....which makes replayability just about getting higher score. also since release we got just 1/2 patches. and last one has been in like 3 months at the time of this review.

its still fun, and not horrible game, just get it on sale and keep in mind that the game is badly optimized and devs are slow and i wont be surprised if they drop support in future....

UPDATE: as of 29th July 2024, we got a huge update after almost 5 months of 0 updates to the game, and same bugs carried on, example: Nvidia Reflex used to not work, now it work if you select disabled in settings xD....... DLSS only uses quality mode........ the devs are incompetent seems like. game is still fun, but for such support i wont recommend

Senua's Saga Hellbalde 2 brings more of the same, with abit more quality production.
The first game touched me more to be honest, but maybe cause the first is about Senua's personal journey.
While this generally is about her next step in life. that stage where u try to figure your purpose instead of just surviving horrible events that no one can imagine.

some negatives are the black bars (odd aspect ratio) by devs to make it feel more cinematic. but i didnt like it, also its around 1 hour shorter i feel compared to the first game, HDR is abit too dark at a times... like u cant see anything dark......and adjusting the HDR gamma makes colors washed-out, so u stuck with really dark scenes at times if you use HDR.
the positives are, great graphics, and abit better acting on main characters.

final rating: 7.8/10 play it at least on sale or using gamepass.

This game reminds me of the love of my life.
its chill cool game that is worth playing for sure and specially in coop.
old school vibes, and lovely art style.

Its no Witcher 3 or Half Life Alyx. but still recommended.
