Honestly, No notes. Game is functional, fun, has some challenge to it and not overpriced. In fact it's under priced. Easily worth five bucks. Can't wait to see more.

I have 102 hours in this game and i can say definitively that it is one of the best games in my library. I never thought i wanted dwarves with guns vs aliens but i did. Just downright fun and for 30 bucks it can't be beat.

Four stars! (one star deducted because ghost bulk detonators exist)

I put all the symptoms for the Wuhan Coronavirus into a normal game and just let it run on the fastest speed and the world died in three years. I don't know what to do with this information so i figured i'd share here. If in three years we're all dead you know this game is hyper realistic and gets a 10/10, if we're all alive in three years than this game is fake and bad.

So I got up this morning at 3 am, was groggy as you are when you don't sleep well. Stumbled my way into the bathroom and back when i saw this game had finished downloading. I think to myself "Im probably not going to fall asleep right away so i may as well give it a try", That was four hours ago. Either this game is a time machine or it is incredibly fun. I'll let you be the judge. In all serious it is a steal at it's current price. No micro transactions, no battle pass, no bull* just a fun simple game.

YES the game is "open beta" technically but i feel safe writing a review because this is an age where early access and open beta just mean they are selling an unfinished game. (Yes i am aware it's free to play) However i doubt much will change between beta and release.

From my short time i noticed fairly toxic community. Another of those overzealous groups that wont allow any criticism to be levied against their game despite reporting bugs being the point of a beta. That and any questions are met with the usual "git gud" response at the very least and some active attempts to shame people at the worst. Matchmaking is poor, noticed there were higher tier ships being paired against lower tier. Half of my games started with me dominating a new player or getting squashed by someones t9 frigate. Noticed odd moments of rubberbanding which in any type of combat focused pvp game is bad. Could be fun if some of these issues were fixed, but in an age where open beta is basically the release version i doubt they will be.

Personally i had some minor complaints about the lack of tooltips and some UI features, like the inability to lock in a ship for the match so you can browse others while waiting. No accurate information on abilitys or damage. Menus could be designed better, at the moment the feel excessive and clunky.

Cash shop is also active for an unfinished product which rubs me the wrong way, you may feel differently. Yes you can argue it's for cosmetics but it's still a cash shop in a beta.

372 hours in game, buy this instead of 3. It is amazing.

Game is still buggy, rampant with hackers, poorly optimized. Do not buy this garbage. If you don't own it get something like Arma or CS:GO instead.

Gonna go ahead and post a review 40 minutes into the game to warn people, this game seems to still have a pretty severe hacker problem. The moment i stepped into the high wall location i was invaded by an invicible dude dropping items in my game. He onehit a white player i summoned in and i assume from threads all over the internet about hacked items and cheats getting players banned that these items he dropped were not safe to pickup. If this is still an issue this late after release then do not buy this game. Not worth getting a ban or a flag on your account if the producers of this game are not willing to prevent hackers but will ban you for things they did in to your games.

Spoiler incomming, not that this actually matters but there is no benefit to ng+, No new enemies, new weapons, new gear, a few rings go up to +3 and that's it. The best rings can be gotten as +3 in the first playthrough. Pyro/stabbystab finished game plus DLC. Still negative review. Pretty though.
