One of the best RTS games i've had the plesure of playing, Ground and space combat diifferent tech trees for differing factions a whole raft of mods that expands and improves the game and I did I mention its set in the Star Wars galaxy yeah that too! Would reccommed to RTS fans anywhere

I play this game to relax. That statement alone should tell you enough of what I think of this game so here's more no stakes the drama even when it is there is light, having to focus on one LI ( or choosing not to at all) means no worry about missed flags or bad ends just simple wholesome slice o life fun

Tough turn based gameplay fun VN story elements all in all a good package

I have fond Memories of the Snes Shadowrun Game, so i went into this expecting to be dissapointed a little, afterall everything seems amazing when viewed through the rose tinted glasses of nostalga. I have never been so wrong and I have never been so glad I was. While the Snes original was an Action RPG made for a console, this game is cleary based on Shadowrun's tabletop origins, with several different classes on offer or the choice to make your own, numerous skills and abilties and a deep combat system remincant of the recent Xcom game.
But it's not all tea and biscits however some classes (espcially mages) feel underpowered, the cyberspace levels are boring as hell and the original campaign is kinda short.
Thankfully however the community is an active one constantly making new missions and campaigns not to mention the excellent Dragonfall expansion adds a whole new campaign in which run your own crew of Shadowrunners turning the game into somthing more akin to Balders Gate.

In Summary I would say buy this game even if you have never played or heard of Shadowrun before buy simply because it's an example of good solid RPG infact I would so the xtra money spent buying this with the dragonfall DLC is worth it because how much it adds.

Not since Imperium Galactica 2 have I encounted a Space 4X has pulling power of Civ and the feeling stepping into the unknown. You can set the size of univese to a huge scale for marathon games of exploration and conquest (a size that makes you feel properly insignifficant) or set it for tiny for quick few hour quickie , either way with amount of other options availble race creators, tons of techs various ways to win (or lose) all ends up in game that you start playing at say 6Pm and stop at 6AM

Those who love xcom near vertical difficulty and stategic depth will love this game I knew very little about series other than it was much loved and was plesenly surprised at what was on offer
