This game is great, it's basically a much much better looking version of the first game. It plays pretty much exactly like the first one. So far the gameplay feels pretty much exactly like the first one, they've made improvements to vocations here and there, like that mages now get anodyne as a core ability. There are some new enemies I've run into (like the slimes).

I have run into slowdown in the bigger cities, I expect this will get better at some point. It hasn't been bad enough to make cities unplayable for me, though.

The incessant whining about the microtransactions is completely unfounded, most the people talking about it don't have a clue what they're talking about, you get so many of the items that they sell in it for free just by exploring, it seems pointless to even include the shop.
