I found this game to be very repetitive. Pretty much all the levels, with the exception of the bosses, are the same just increasing the number of asteroids you need to destroy. Being able to change the difficulty and add in bounty hunters on each level is a nice feature, and allows you to vary the experience gained so you can level up faster.

Overall I just didn't feel like there was much progression. The enemy ships seemed to always be the same. The players ship doesn't really change apart from it's raw stats.
