I've put many hours into this game since release using Ubisoft's launcher. It always had 3 payment levels: Paying a big yearly subscription, a smaller one with slightly less content or paying nothing and have access to even less content. More than 90% of that content belongs to the hard-working community, and you still have to pay to be able to access all of it. With no surprise, the same applies to skins. The subscription method has always been a big no for me but at least I had a seasonal campaign I could play for free and a few online modes.

With the last update, however, the free version has been reduced to a mere demo. And that sucks. It seems to me Ubisoft/Nadeo are willing to ruin the little fun this title had left at this point for people like me if that means they can make more money.

I feel very underwhelmed by their decision making and very sad about not playing again, but this is goodbye. I won't touch this beautiful game until I can really buy it and not every single year (even if it's ''cheap''), just like any other game. I would gladly pay 60 bucks once and be done with it.

I really hope things change in the future but at their current state I can only uninstall and write this review.
