Gonna just throw this out there randomly, DS2's soul memory mechanic is probably the worst thing in the whole game. I feel for twinkers who go through the game getting end-game stuff like the Ice Rapier at Soul Tier...1? 2? Whatever the hell, because trying to go through the game to get stuff that fits your character is next to impossible if you also wanna invade or co-op, let alone the fact that it makes getting covenant reward items like sunlight medals next to impossible unless you want to use bonfire ascetics and grind Falconers for 20,000 years.
