tl;dr Just wait until it's out of EA sometime in 2025.

I love how skills work, game is easy, WAY EASIER than PoE1 to understand. You can't F up your build, no guide required anymore.
No nonsense jeweller orb or fusing orb spam to link sockets. Orbs are easy to get since you can disenchant items to get them.
I feel like RNG is way much more into your favor than in PoE1. Crafting is actually fun and not a complete waste of time and resources.
Why can I have only 1 faster casting support gem is beyond my comprehension...
Game is as slow as old people Fk. What I liked in PoE1 are eyecancer builds. If you can see your cursor or your character then your build is a MASSIVE MEH. Literally every build for now is a massive MEH, I have to force myself to play and not get bored after 15 minutes. You don't even need to play and try everything, just go and watch people on twitch.

With all this being said, I will somehow force myself to reach the endgame.

P.S.: Yes game is super easy, bosses are easy, their mechanics are easy to learn and there are no one shots. Dodge rolling made me immortal.

Very nice atmosphere and a lot of grinding which I like. The traveling... oh the traveling if only there was a teleport or a ''guide'' like in the original Stalker series. 50% of the gameplay is running. If you get overweight, your movement is slowed down and you can't run anymore. You get overweight by 10 grams? No, can't run. Stamina doesn't deplete at all when you get overweight either. It's so stupid mechanic, I would rather be able to walk faster or run for a short distance and have my stamina depleted rather than walking to a checkpoint for 30 minutes through 2 locations. No vehicles either.
Resources are easy to farm, you just need a lot of them. Rubles are easy to come by once you level the checkpoint or safe area or whatever is it called.
The PvP is completely unbalanced but you have to look for it if you want to kill players, like going close to their checkpoint. Otherwise you are pretty safe.
I haven't got far yet, only just leveled Garages to level 5, but I am determined to reach the endgame.

Played since early days of beta when there was only 1 campaign and completely different leveling and progress system. This game played flawlessly since the beginning so the only major optimizations went into gameplay. I have never played and seen an online free to play game that wasn't pay to win. This is probably the only one.
And they DO LISTEN to their community. Steam implementation and account linking went bad at start so they apologized and took the game down from steam for the time being. After they fixed the issue, everything was just as flawless as always.
Hopefully the implementation of battleeye will get rid of most cheaters, because you know, you can never get rid of all of them.

This is like 7 days to die but topdown, without zombie humans but aliens. Also graphics are made for mobile phone so no one should have a problem running this. I love the grind, skill system and progression. There are bosses that spawn randomly as a ''world event''. You can play this as single player or with friends, or you could join a public server. These public servers wipe regularly, some people might find this kind of stuff repetitive but if you leveled 50 characters in WoW or Path of Exile, you should not have a problem with this.

I am looking forward to dumping at least 300 hours into this, bought it for 5EUR, money well spent!

No, go play Tarkov, or Enlisted. Anything is better than any of these CoD games.

So after a thousand hours I can say, that this game actually progresses backwards. I used to complete each ascension withing 2-3 weeks now it takes more than a month. Literally 46 days to get to ASC10. No idea what happened, but I have a very strong guess, that after ACS8 you are pretty much forced to P2W for potions or take twice as much time to complete ascendancy.
