For certain the most adorable space sandbox I have ever played.
The game grew enormously from its Early Access phase and provides hours of entertainment for a low price, as long as you bring some curiosity and creativity.
The comic graphics style fits the setting and can give some nice panoramas when you push the graphics settings to the top. Sound and music are well done, a jukebox for our mp3s would be a fantastic addition in some future expansions.

Talking about expansion, the game had some recurring seasonal events like halloween and xmas, with special items and rewards, I hope that this will be continued. Throughout the last years new content and gameplay elements were added too, like the rail update and the adorable galastropods.

While many Astroneer character models and colour palettes are free (most of them unlocked by missions) there is also an ingame shop where you can purchase cosmetic items. But that does not affect any gameplay elements, so really just outfits for your little Avatar.

And you can play with your friends too, up to 4 players can join a multiplayer session.

Very well done! Fully recommended

Early Access Review
This game gives you the opportunity to create the space ride or station of your dreams. It's up to you if you want to inspect asteroids with a tiny fighter/miner ship or hunt down NPCs or other players with gun covered assault ships or roam the region in your personal DeathStar. And that is one of the biggest advantages over most building games: you can create MOVING objects, not just a house or a castle (which you can do too, if you want to).

Whatever you want to build, you can do that the easy way in creative mode or the "hard" way in survival mode.
Survey and mine asteroids for resources to build your ships and stations or steal some NPC rides to scrap them and build new stuff out of it. Build it like you want, paint it like you want and have fun, alone or with others in multiplayer.

The workshop gives you hundreds of new blocks or even complete models to mess around, new content is added daily.
Every Thursday the developers do some updates, usually bugfixing and some new features to push the game further to beta status.

Space Engineers will benefit from new developments for Medieval Engineers and vice versa, so we may see things like planets in the future.

There are lots of inspirations on YouTube, I recommend watching some stuff from LastStandGamers or SAGE, just to get some ideas what is possible in this game.

Is there something I don't like? Well, multiplayer is cool but can be tricky sometimes, for example when your ship starts bumping around for no reason and crushing you to death.
