The game starts out as a kind of Southern Rock response to Firefly - which sounds awesome! If you like space sims with a variety of play options, you may enjoy this. I gave it a thumbs down for two reasons.

First, everything is a grind. Getting a ship strong enough to compete and survive beyond the first sector costs millions of credits. You'll spend hours of gameplay chasing bigger ships, which do not seem to significantly change or develop play. Missions, trading, mining, piracy, pirate hunting... it's all the same thing over and over again. The story is alright, but not good enough to warrant a game that is all grind.

The main reason I gave it a thumbs down is that there's a line in one of the main songs that loops over and over again that is EXTREMELY sexist (talking about a woman who is a "sleaze" and not worth a man's time). It's really gross that they decided to include something like that in an otherwise ok space sim.
