Gameplay gets extremely repetitive after first couple of missions. You are essentially doing the same thing over and over as you progress through the missions and side quests, there is little to no element of surprise except for the boss fight at the end of the first chapter. That’s where I stopped and I have no desire of getting into chapter 2 because I know it’s going to be the same stuff they’ll let you do. TBH I solely played it just for the cutscenes, on that part I have to give Hideo Kojima a big thumb up, a job well done, definitely one of the most uniquely styled cinematics in games.

On the other hand, the environment is extremely dull as well, two big opened world maps are just filled with pretty much nothing, things are so far apart, you spend a lot of time driving/riding horse/sprinting through nothing but land and some plants. The things you can interact with is very limited. The outposts are identical and other larger sites are just bigger version of the outposts… Again it gets old quick.

The mother base development mechanics and interface is just so overwhelming at first glance, but as I got better understanding of everything, I think a lot of the information being displayed is unnecessary and it does little to actually affect the gameplay experience. I got no sense of accomplishment after upgrading stuff other than my guns and gadgets. A game that doesn’t award player enough will hard to keep the players playing.

In terms of the skill development, (this is important to me because in some games, as you spend more time perfecting your skill, you will enjoy it better because you are getting better at it) your gameplay skill doesn’t really improve after you’ve gone past certain point of the learning curve, you just have to grind a lot to get better weapons and gadgets to help you get through the mission easier. Less is better. I know Japanese games tend to force you to grind, and some people may find joy through that process, however, that type of grind is not my cup of tea. I do not recommend this game.

The story is not for the faint-hearted, don't expect rainbow and sunshine at the end.

All those negative reviewers wants it to have a happy ending but when they didn't get one they clam that the choices they made don't matter, because they couldn't alter the result to what they want.

♥♥♥♥♥ what a bunch of milksops, they don't realize how little choices they made in real life actually mattered.

The choices may not change a damn thing, but they are what define you.

It's a very well-made game that's easy to miss.

Got it on sale for less than 6 dollars which includes the soundtrack and it was money well spent.

You know the feel when a certain scene in a documentary leaves you in awe? Well this game delivers not only just that but it also provides the freedom for you to explore and interact with your sourroundings.

The game itself doesn't take long to finish, neither does it have a detailed storyline, instead you will discover these separated locations that all look astonishing with different marine species and environments. And in the process of discovering them, you will enjoy the relaxing experience of swimming & riding with the fishes.

In terms of replaying values, I can see myself using the meditation feature in this game while reading or doing homework.

If this game had never existed, I would have never become the person I am today.

For that, I'm grateful.

If you liked The New Order, then you will enjoy this game just as much. Nothing revolutionary from the previous game; simple storyline, satisfying gory combat, it leaves you in a good mood after playing it. And the Nazi zombies at the end were a nice touch.

Batman: Arkham Knight is overall the best Batman game.

Its story, gameplay mechanics and atmosphere has well exceeded its predecessors. The level of details in this game is phenomenal, the amount of effort that’s been put into this game can be shown in every clever riddler’s puzzle you solve, every building you land on, and every graffiti you come across. Everything seems to be created with great passion, which is a crucial part in making such a memorable atmosphere.

The story line is very intriguing and I don’t want to spoil anything, if you haven’t played, you just need to know that it picks up from where Arkham city left off and it is the final chapter for Batman game series.

In terms of the combat, rather than spamming hit and parry, it is the most satisfying when you utilize all the gadgets, However, there may be some learning curves due to the large skill sets you can choose to develop. I would recommend to try out different things because they implemented a lot of cool combos/finishes you can use(every time I do a finish move I get a mini fatality feel from the mortal combat). The combat is definitely a lot of fun to play and I personally never got tired of it.

On a side note, Although it had some initial release problems on the PC port, but it is very well optimized now just like any previous Batman games. I’m not exactly sure what happened but I think WB want to compensate and apologize to those who got really upset about the whole deal, so I got Batman Arkham City, Arkham Asylum, Arkham Origin and even BlackGates for free WITH ALL DLCs. It was a smart move for them.

It's indeed a great game, though some may say it gets repetitive and it does, but it's really up to the person who plays and his/her character determines his/her opinion. To me it brings satisfaction after doing some tedious quests, for example, every time when I lower a level of threats in certain region, I get excited because then it means I can start to upgrade my skills and gadgets. Or when I scavenged all the project parts and see the strong hold grows, it brings joy, makes me feel all that hardwork has paid off. However, it may seem like a "chore" to the others, those who would prefer much more depth in the story and the missions. I can totally understand that, but if you are a completionist like me you will not find this game boring at all.
