I don't often do reviews, but with Valheim I feel obliged. The implementation of procedural generation coupled with the intuitive and as-action-packed or as-relaxing-as-you-want gameplay is truly a killer combo. The world combines story and lore in a sandbox that has many beautiful biomes and is different on each playthrough. Take LEGO, or minecraft, where half the fun is creating something and the other half is actually playing around with it, that's Valheim, scaled up and put in a Viking world.

Chopping trees and clearing woods and rocks to build a magnificent base, farming the veggies and hunting meat to buff yourself for battle, gathering mats to go on epic sailing adventures, reaching truly rewarding endgame technologies and magic... the list goes on.

Best enjoyed coop, slightly more challenging single-player, Valheim cannot be praised enough, best Early Access purchase I ever made.

I'm a really patient gamer so I waited this long to get the game on Steam during the last sale (even after it being handed to me free by Epic and only doing a 1-hour test run), and holy crap I wasn't expecting a city builder to be packed with so much detail, beautiful graphics and artwork, emotion, even moments that make you break out in tears. Along with the masterfully written soundtrack, this game is a true gem, cheers to the developers!

One of the most useful software purchases I ever made, and it served perfectly throughout the years! If you need custom cursors for any possible reason, look no further.
