Scrimblo Blimblo, the Lovable Scrunko fans, rejoice !

This new entry in the series is quite good. Simple, fun and cute well describe this game with an esthetic reminiscent of the N64/PSX era, where you use your frog gun to hook to walls or to fetch objects and monsters (so you can throw them away after). The voice of the tutorial frog is straight up taken from the Banjo Kazooie vibes.

The steady, linear and fair difficulty curve of the game respect your time and your skills. With multiple challenges within the level, from collecting all the coins to finding the secrets. While you can't shmoove as you would in a Mario 64 - like game, the game respect your skills with its native speedrun challenges that rewards good routing and the finding of niche angles and jumps.

I havent finished the game yet, but with 3-4 hours of playtime, it says that I am at 45% completion, which means that the game is relatively short, expecting 10 hours of playtime max total, but not so much when you see how unexpensive it is.

Anyways its a recommend from me, low cost, low commitment, yet fun and expressive game.

Good game but netcode is a bit ewww hopefully they add rollback on day. very colorful cast of characters

This is for all intents and purpose Donkey Kong Country.
Gameplay wise its honestly better than Tropical Freeze. The levels are short and sweet, just the perfect length. The level design is similar to Donkey Kong Country 1. Honestly some levels are conceptually the same as in this game.
The game is a bit short and easy, but overall very satisfying to play.
I recommend this to DKC fans or just plateformer fans in general
