I've been playing since launch on mobile. I can't recommend this game enough. It's very friendly with the paid currency as well.

I was actually in the hospital when I got the game for the second time. I saw it was on steam so I re-purchased. Once the game was loaded, I spent every moment my eyes would stay open on the game and hit cap of 50 (before hevansward) in about week. Then life happened and had to cancel the sub. But I'm back and I have to say this is a grown mans mmorpg. The people are so helpful every on is on the same page and willing to stop everything and help you.

FFXIV has a great story which I recommend you DO NOT skip any scenes but put it on auto text so you can sit back and enjoy without having to click through the dialog boxes.

Each class including the crafting classes has it's own story aside from the main scenario. Square seems to have showed much love for this game and it shows.

Best MMO in my honest opinion
