The game can be such a love hate relationship sometimes. I love it but the game hates me.

2 hours in and gotta say so far it's really good. The sound mixing when out in the wilderness is insanely well done. Graphics look great. The animations when in dialog seem a bit stiff especially in the face. But I'd say it's really a minor issue. The rest of the game is great.

Danger close? Never heard of her.

What the ♥♥♥♥ did I just play?

The scum of the imperium going up against endless hordes of Nurgles minions and manage to come back alive? Yeah I'd believe it.

This game is a disappointment. For starters the appalling performance. I have a rig with an i9-9900k 32gbs of RAM and a 2080Ti. After doing some settings changes I was able to get over 110 fps in the main menu. In game with a city population around 6 thousand I get 20-30 fps. So a pretty small city causes that much of a frame drop is pretty bad.

As for game play I like the new system to upgrade buildings. For Example on the coal power plant you can add an extra furnace to generate more power. Thats just one example but still really cool.

The other new systems are a bit disappointing. Almost all of them were mods in the first game so they aren't really new. Also some dlcs from the first game, like the industry dlc is technically in the game. But its not really as fleshed out like it was in the first game.

Overall with the current state of the game I cant recommend the game.

This is one of the best shooters ever made. Doom 2016 was great but Doom Eternal is amazing. 9/10

This game is great. Have a server where we just reviewed the food we were eating.

Besides the every 10 minute video driver crash its fun. But i cant recommend this game un till it actually works.
