This game has the word weeaboo written all over it. Doesn´t matter how you look at it. And well... thats because thats what it is: a weeaboo game. BUT ITS NOT JUST THAT. This is more than just fan service, this is actually a game.

Hyperdimension Neptunia has a really good story, and really enjoyable gameplay. It doesn't leave the fan service behind, but fan service actually revolves around the story rather than the story around the fan service. With my long experience with video games, I have become really demanding on the quality of gameplay, and this game delivered.

Many of you out there who dont like anime and refuse to play this kind of games, you are really missing out. If this game didnt have a pinch of anime in it, it would still be a great game. Don't judge this game by its cover. If you are an RPG fan in general, please bare with the fanservice and try this game. You will not regret it.
