Great game but cant recommend with a forced PlayStation Account that came out of nowhere. Terrible communication and horrible execution here.

Destiny is an odd beast. It is filled with potential that is almost unheard of in an industry that loves to copy paste everything it can for an easy buck. It has the story, the gunplay, the atmosphere to make itself and absolute behemoth in the industry. But it fails. Its impossible for new players to understand this game. From the content removal of expansions such as Forsaken to the absolute insanity it is to actually catch up on the lore it is extremely difficult for new or old players to have a firm grasp of what is happening in Destiny. This isnt touching upon the increasing prices, the lesser content we have been receiving, the hypocrisy of Bungie, and the constant refusal to listen to even the most basic of community feedback. Bungie has failed this community and this franchise on scale that is almost unprecedented. And now we are hearing of mass layoffs and scummy evil practices to screw over the employees who worked so hard to give this game a heart and soul. I was considering returning with Final Shape but I think its time to hang up the coat and move on. There are so many other games releasing in the next few years with limitless potential. We have big shakeups in the industry such as Microsoft purchasing ABK that reignites hope for new and old franchises. We have new MMO and Shooter games coming that look to be filled with the same potential that Destiny has always had. The hope is that we see the potential actually achieved instead of going down a path of greed, scumminess, and become a heartless studio.

Fantastic fighter game with one draw back. STOP ADDING SO MANY GOKUS

The game certainly has its issues especially pertaining to the base game and certain class combat mechanics. However if you play this game for its story it has some of the best Star Wars stories ever told. PvE such as Operations and Flashpoints are great with a negative being that Operations are locked behind a subscription. PvP is also soft locked behind a subscription as you are limited to 10 warzones a week if you are free to play which of course will hurt some peoples overall view of the game. However it cant be denied that this game has a massive amount of content to keep you busy for weeks if not months. Free to play members get the base game class stories completely free which are fantastic and quite the time dump as well as Rise of the Hutt Cartel and Shadow of Revan. If you choose to pay for one month worth of sub you also gain access Knights of the Fallen Empire, Knights of the Eternal Throne and Onslaught. It is in my opinion that these three expansions are essential to a players narrative experience and are a must have for Star Wars fans. I truly hope they fix some issues such as combat as well as a content drought for those finished with the game and I hope to see a new expansion reveal soon!
