This game is incredibly fun with a cooperating team of players. Taking up roles, and working out strategies put a lot of emphasis on the tiniest detail such as who should stay and man the cameras, and which two should seek out the Squatch.

Survival: There is a finite amount of resources to distribute amongst your party. Between the hunters, you need to quickly establish who is preparing traps/cameras, looking for lost campers, and finding resources. There are plenty of flares, but ammo for your rifles can be quickly depleted. Unfortunately there is no looting, or trade aspect in the game. While in a way I like this for encouraging the team to work together, so everyone can defend themselves, on the other-hand it's easy for another player to horde all the ammo for themselves. Since there is no loot system, if that player dies, there is no way to retrieve anything off their corpse.

Horror: Bigfoot does provide for a good jump scare. There is no safe place, and if you think you can just lock the door and hide in the camper, think again. I find the green blood out of place, but it does help when trying to track him down at night. Lighting strikes are sudden and random, so headphone users be prepared.

Communication/multilayer: The fun factor is much greater amongst a group of friends than the single player can offer. The role playing, and teamwork add a real nice extra layer of depth. If you lack friends that play the game you're missing out on a good portion of the fun. Thankfully you can just set an obvious password for anyone can join your match, however this creates a whole new problem; no communication. There is no way to chat with your fellow hunters, and you're left to communicating with your tools like you're some sort of caveman. Trying to tell someone how to track the tagged Bigfoot, or help a new player find ammo is very frustrating that can be solved with a text chat system. Adding more public match support is essential for those who have trouble getting a group of friends together.

Bigfoot: Again, I'm not much of a fan of the green blood, but overall I was impressed with the creatures AI. Hearing his calling roar in the distance, for the first time got me quite nervous of what was awaiting me out in the woods. Possibly adding more distant grunts, or having the squatch maybe throw something at you can help increase the early game tension imo. From the impression I got though, I'm greatly looking forward to the expansion, and I hope the team is willing to explore other North American Cryptids!

Lots of balance issues, but you're bound to have a lot fun.

They're many good aspects about this game, and many bad, but first the good. You do feel like you are part of a large conflict, yet you are not strewn across the battflefield where you may have to walk 5 miles only to be killed in your mundane trek. Basic infantry vs infantry combat does feel balanced and won't leave you feeling cheated. Those first few matches you'll be facing riflemen and jeeps, all the while having a blast being a gunner, going rambo with your SMG, or using excellent teamwork. This game appears very enticing when you realize that pershing tanks and airplanes await for your efforts, however that can be compared to the cake is a lie.

What makes this game bad is not the controls, the graphics, the sound, nor the RTS/FPS mechanic; it is the P2W mechanic. As you progress in the game you are thrown out of training matches into full blown war. You are armed with a rifle or SMG against swarms of tanks. Will there be an an Anti tank gun waiting in your newly captured position? Nope. You better darn hope one of your mates has a bazooka or a stuart, and that they know how to use it. With your m1 or 43 rifle you face swarms of snipers, aircraft, and tanks to add to it. You are merely cannon fodder in this ludicrous mess. This is no longer a war for you, but survival. See a sniper in the distrance? Have him in your sights? Pull the trigger and it'll take 4 rounds, as for your bewildered target just a 1 on you. They're only two solutions in this scenario, one is to fork out actual cash for better weapons and equipment, or grind to the point that you can finally purchase that bazooka or sniper rifle you longed for.

Say you went with the latter, like me. You run out onto the field waiting in ambush, or pushing with a strike force, decimating tanks left and right; saving the lives of your squad and yourself. Alast, this can't last forever as P2W puts an end to your triumph. That expensive bazooka came with 50 rounds to stop your foes over all matches, no not one match, all matches. You can find a resupply crate but you ain't getting more rockets. Here's the deal, you can spend in game currency, you earned, on another 50 rounds or pay actual money for it. Like War Thunder or WOT, most players would choose the former, however this game creates a dilemma. The cost was 22,800 of in game currency for another 50 rockets. In perspective that was nearly all I earned for 10 matches. I would have had no funds to upgrade my arsenal, or my current weapons; all that effort for some more ammo. The only way out of this cycle is an insanse level of grinding, or your bank account funds. I'm sure this holds true for much more than what I experienced.

This game has an excellent concept going for it, backed up by solid infantry gameplay and a sense you are making a difference in a large conflect, however its boggled down by far too much. Balance issues between the Americans and Germans, a glitchy auto match system, and to top it off a P2W structure that is all too sadly obvious. I would like to see this game suceed, but so far it's an unwelcoming experience.
