Honestly, its a walking simulator. However the story is intriguing, voice acting is top notch, and characters personalities are more opaque than I've ever seen in a game. For example they threw in small details like every time henry leaves his tower he swings from the overhang as he walks down the stairs. Details like that (if not overlooked) are impressive. I feel like I know the characters personally. The game could have been longer, it took me just over 17 hours to complete while playing very casually. Could definately finish faster but its not the type of game to speed through.

-PERFORMANCE-
Graphics are impressive, specially on high..however the average computer will not be able to do this. I ran it on a lenovo y50 laptop (look up the specs if u need to) and its the first game in over a year that I couldnt run anywhere close to the default settings. It could be a problem specifically with the the hardware I ran it on but i never tried on my desktop so I'm not sure.

If you have 20 bucks buy it, if not wait for a sale. its worth a play at some point.

Amazingly addictive. If you love wasting your life achieving things that dont matter like me, then this is your game! I highly reccommend the DLC packs, the amazon is my favorite character class. Multi-player support is nice. Play multi-player over panic.net, or two players on the same computer via two controllers or one controller and one keyboard. Game mechanics are very similar to The Binding of Isaac but with much larger arena style levels. hundreds of power-ups, bosses, armor, dungeons, it never seems to end! If you think it looks good from the store page then buy it. Unlike most games its AS good if not better than it looks.

I'm a bit disappointed to see the massive number a bad reviews. Simply because someone made a game that wasnt geared towards english speaking players, doesnt make it a bad game. Its a good game, period. It wasnt made by a team of 100+ programmers, its not a polished masterpiece. Their are going to be issues. Biggest complaints Ive read so far are russian menus [fixable], russian story text [fixable], and sluggish graphics [fixable]. Read below for instructions on how to fix these issues and please give the game another chance if you gave up on it....its worth it.

Step 1: Access settings menu [drive.google.com]
Click the menu item one up from the bottom.

Step 2: Change menu and game language [drive.google.com]
Click the text (Русский) in the right hand collumn to change the menu text (reference picture linked above). This will change the menu language from russian to english. NOTE: Two items down from menu language you will see an item that still says Русский. Click this as well to change the story language. If you dont, you wont know whats going on in the story.

Step 3: Graphics settings [drive.google.com]
I dont know why but in full screen mode the game runs at about half speed. Its almost unplayable like this so find the full screen setting and change it to false. Once it goes windowed you can click the maximize button on the winow itself so it takes up the whole screen.

language settings save once the game is closed, but the full screen setting must be changed to windowed each time you open the game.

Bottom line
-Its a weird indie style game, if your not into the sort of thing then dont buy it.
-English is not the devs primary language, so language settings need to be changed and some story dialogue translations seem a little off.
-There are bugs, all games have them. Level starting locations seem weird, I fell off and under the floor once and had to restart to get back in the level, also guns can be picked up through walls. Glitches like that are typical here but not usually game breaking.
-Its up to you, all I'm saying is the biggest complaints in 90% of the negative reviews are easily fixable. I was entertained and happy with the purchase.

This game sucks =/

Finished Part 1 in about 2 hours. Not much game play...it's more of an interactive movie. If your looking for the freedom of Minecraft trust me when I say its not here. All that aside I felt the story so far is solid, the interaction between the characters is some of the most believable dialoge (wizards, magic, etc aside.) that Ive seen in most games. Part two just came out and I plan on going through that tonight, cant wait!

Amazingly gory! This game scares the hell out of me every time I play, love it.

Best game I've played in a while. Constant content updates, bug fixes, competitions. Great community so far. Love it.
