This game is what Early Access SHOULD look like. The product you're buying may not be finished, but the content currently in place is MASSIVE. The world is gigantic, the crafting is immersive, and the world is thrilling to explore. Building in this game is probably one of the best games I've played thus far for building and maintaining your very own village/home. The combat isn't just right click/left click spam. The graphics aren't even terrible, they have their own shine. Overall, this game was a bit of a sleeper for me but I am overjoyed I picked it up and tried it when found in my recommendations. If you're on the fence, or even thinking about getting this game, buy it. It's beyond worth the price. The devs here put triple A titles to shame. Hats off to Iron Gates. See you all in Valhalla.

I almost never write reviews on games, but for this one I felt an absolute need to.

The game is incredibly well done, beautiful, and checks all the marks for an RPG at its finest roots. My biggest cause for writing this review is to dissuade all potential buyers away from the negative reviews. Almost all of the ones I've read have been some form of crying over mechanics that they're blatantly ignored, or refuse to try and learn. The game will NOT, and should NOT baby the player. It is explicitly said and prided by the developers that your player is a commoner, not some famed hero. Play like a commoner. Learn how things fight, start by preparing with traps, magic, learning their elemental weaknesses by trial or common sense. Try even fortifying your own defenses through potions or magic against their element of choice, and feel damn good when a strategy goes well and shameful when it goes tits up. The game is absolutely, for once in such a long time, 'working as intended'. A lot of these negative reviews are from people who are too used to being spoon fed legendary items, and insta kill spells, and not wanting to sit back and analyze how ONE person is going to fight three. This game is a true gem, and the devs put AAA companies to shame. Good on you Nine Dots for delivering such an epic experience to the gaming community, and thank you for shining some light on just what it takes to make a game fantastic in just so many ways.
