I put a rock potion on my gloves and now my banana is slow.

Good:
it's orcsassin's creed, it was fun.
Lootboxes are gone (and never added to or subtracted from the game anyway.)
Nemesis system still fun.
lots of progression. love me some progression. more levels. more skill points. must prove I've spent more time through online content.

Meh?:
Story not canon, don't expect it to revere the source material. (though it's a fine story if you don't care for the characters beforehand.)

Bad:
Fight pit AI is like watching a toddler try to smash a beetle with a hammer after you tell him to hammer-in a nail. (not much activity near the nail, lots of staring, more likely to hurt himself on the nail than succeed in nailing.)
Nemesis system not quite immersive after awhile. (when it becomes more like balancing financial sheets, some people enjoy it. Like me, I enjoy it.)
Talion has no banter, he's like a grimdark wet towel. (gets worse later in the game, would feel better if he got cocky and cracked jokes to himself in end-game.)
