Overall, I will say that I liked the game quite a bit. Once I got over the graphics and started enjoying the game, my complaints in the cons section didn't really detract away from my enjoyment overall. Onward to Sandrock!

Pros
-Open world that gradually expands as the story progresses.
-Interesting story for the most part, I enjoyed it for the most part. (See Cons for my complaints on the story. MAJOR STORY SPOILERS are covered.)
-Skill Trees! I'm a fiend for skill trees and the gradual progression that comes with leveling. (See Cons for my gripe on leveling)
-Characters, while not fully fleshed out as much as I would like, do all have quests associated with their relationship that do provide story and background on the character, which I find cool. Some characters have far more story than others, and I enjoyed those
-Relationships with one NPC will influence your relationships with other NPCs, which is not only flavorful, but helps when trying to get to know them.
-Relationships come with perks! You can get discounts, bonus stats, and the usual gifts in other Life Sim type games!

Cons
-Visuals. The faces of the characters fall into the uncanny valley, but it really only applies to the player and some select NPCs.
-The end of the story feels incomplete. Plot lines are left unexplored. And since My Time at Sandrock is a prequel, there are not going to be any answers. It is heavily implied that Aadit is the Rogue Knight, and most of the residents of the town even comment that he might be, but nothing comes from it. Maybe a breadcrumb for a potential squeal in the future. It is also mentioned that the antagonist country, Duvos, sent the Rogue Knight and the Sky Pirates, but then nothing about that is explored at all...
-Voice acting is inconsistent. Some things are voice acted, some aren't. Even in a given cutscene/interaction, some lines may be voiced while others aren't. However, it is impressive itself with how much IS voice acted.
-The XP needed for leveling to max is linear but it grows to absurd numbers. Though, you don't NEED to hit max level, so this is just a minor annoyance for the completionist in me.
-Bugs. Even after 4 years there are still some bugs that are left unresolved. The only major one I faced was when going into the Haunted Cave , at a specific point, I would get stuck and have to restart the entire day.
-Combat. It is very one dimensional. Some enemies will get staggered, some won't, with no rhyme or reason to why some are, and others aren't. There are large jumps in when you will get weapon upgrades, leaving parts of the game where you feel extremely weak compared to the combat.

A game I keep coming back to over and over again with every update. Even with the final update, I replayed all the way from the beginning and had fun doing so. A fantastic multiplayer game to play with friends as well. The modding community has created multiple mods that create almost an entirely new game themselves.

Difficult, a little bit luck based, but an extremely enjoyable roguelike.

An extremely enjoyable top down RPG that includes challenging puzzles, enemies with a massive array of unique mechanics, LOTS of parkour, tons of treasure to find, side quests to complete (with stories that follow you throughout your journey!), all wrapped up with a heart-felt story. The quality of this game mirrors that of a professional AAA title, and I can not praise the developers enough for the amazing job they did.

I've only been playing this for a little while, but I've been truely enjoying this game with friends. It has a fair amount of skill involved combined with teamwork and communication. A truely enjoyable shooter!
