I held off on buying this game for years. If you like roguelites or card building games this is a game you will like. If you like both of these kinds of games, you'll love this. I really can't think of another game quite like Slay the Spire. I have very little interest in playing any other card building or roguelite games anytime soon and when I eventually do, they won't be as good as this game. I'm excited for the newly announced sequel!

A game that costs $3 USD that is surprisingly fun. The game is all about probabilities despite its dark theme and gore. The items and their various effects add an interesting element to this game of probabilities, allowing for another level of strategy. If it looks fun and you like doing simple math to play video games, I think you will enjoy this. One thing I would note, the game is a little disturbing, but the trailers show this off pretty well. If that doesn't bother you, buy it!

I would like to first say I purchased this game on sale for about $12 USD. At this price, I am pretty satisfied with my purchase, I paid about $2.40 per hour of playtime I got out of this game. It is beautiful, it is fun, and it all goes together very well. It is also extremely dark in every sense of the word. Do not let the trailer fool you, some f***** up s*** happens in this game. The puzzle elements were fun, but not very challenging which was a negative for me. Since puzzles were not hard to figure out, it oftentimes felt more like an exploration (walking simulator) game than a puzzle plat-former. I do not know if I think this game is worth the full asking price or not. There is virtually no replay value besides to snag achievements you missed on your first run, if you missed any at all. I did greatly enjoy the story and all of the Scandinavian folklore that was woven into it and the world in general. I found the final boss battle to be exciting, but it was still not very challenging. This game is interesting, as the story clearly announces this is a game for people who can handle dark mature topics, but the game-play itself is quite simple and will provide little to no challenges to most individuals. All in all, I thought the game was unique and I am glad I played it. If it is on sale, I definitely recommend picking it up if it looks cool to you.

This game is incredible and I cannot believe it took me roughly a decade to get around to playing it. If you like turn based RPGs with strong narratives and great art-styles, this is about to become one of your all time favorites.

A fantastic sequel that continued an amazing story line.

I love this trilogy of games, and have absolutely zero performance issues in the previous two titles. I don't know why, but I and many others experience infinite loading screens or outright crashes. The game is very good otherwise, but with no save feature, having to replay battles I won again and again gets old, fast. I'd understand if it had just launched, but 6 years after launch these game breaking bugs have interrupted my play-through somewhere between 10-20 times.

An amazing edition to a fantastic game. I love all the updates they have been coming out with, but have been waiting on a DLC to play-through the game again. This DLC is about the same length as any other environment in Dredge. You'll spend a couple to a few hours in this and if you enjoyed the game play and lore of the main story, you'll love this. It's just more Dredge, through and through. Thanks for expanding this great game, Devs!

I'd only buy this if you like the game, but the game is fantastic, so you probably do. The devs were contractually obligated to release this DLC and it gives them some extra money when you pick it up. It's nothing fancy, think of it as a donation to the dev team that you're getting something back out of. This DLC is not pay-to-win, the amulet barely increases the aberration chance and the engine it comes with will only be useful at points in the early game, useless by late game.

This game is has a lot of depth to it. It is not easy to pickup and extremely hard to master. If you are interested in playing random 1v1 public matches, expect to need to grind for at least 100 hours before you come anywhere near holding your own ground. Expect to spend a lot of time watching tutorials, guides, and pro matches along with grinding AI matches if you want to be good. Once you figure out how to play, it has been the most fun I have had in an RTS in close to a decade, maybe ever.

A really fun game to play with your friends. The game is fairly short though, roughly 5 or 6 hours I'd say. There is some replayability, but probably only one time and just to see the other side of some choices you get to make. I got the game on sale, and I felt it was well worth this price though I'm not sure I would feel the same at a $40 price tag.
