The game is fine, its a money sink and extremely p2w game, with a lot of gambling involved.
The devs on the other hand have actually scammed their customers.

The weekly events offer some of the most powerful weapons as a reward for the top 25 spots on the global leaderboard.
However, during one of the events, one of those weapons was showed to be the reward for the local leaderboard too.
This caused A LOT of players to spend more gold (mostly paid currency) and time to get to that #1 spot on the local leaderboard.
Given that the reward was much better, the scores were far higher than usual too, indicating that more people spent money and time to do more runs.

After all those players spent their money and time, the event was 3 hours from ending, and the devs updated the game, removing the reward from the local leaderboard, replacing it with a useless reward.
They claimed that the in game image was the wrong one.
They tried to deny all blame, saying "The name of the reward was listed on out reddit, and discord server".
So.... they are basically saying that whatever is shown in game is a lie and you shouldnt trust it, you have to go to a separate platform to see the actual rewards.
Seems kind of an odd thing to do.

Even if it was a mistake as they claim, that mistake cost a lot of people actual money, and they did nothing to make up for that.
Instead of giving players the weapon that was promised and the one people spent time and money to get, they did nothing.
It wouldnt have cost them a thing to own up to it.
they chose to scam their customers.

Even their discord server is corrupt, you get banned for even talking about it.
Luckily i found a way to get my money back, but not many people will be able to.

TLDR, the game is fine to play for free, but dont put any money into it, you will regret it.

Everything that made dying light 1 great was butchered.
Combat, movement, parkour, all feel clunky as hell compared to DL1, the nights dont feel anywhere near as terrifying as they did in 1, and the menu's are just bad.

Has some issues, but good game

Great game, just needs level based matchmaking.

60 bucks for a bare bone stripped remake of a great game... what a scam.
So many iconic moments left out, they advertised nemesis as a beefed up Mr X, while all he did was jump at you with easy to dodge attacks, and they piss off again.
He wasnt a constant threat, just sometimes hes there and you gotta dodge, thats it.
3 hours and 20 minutes it took me to get trough it.
Im hoping they are gonna fix it by releasing free DLC Because This is in no way shape or form worth the Ful AAA price of 60 bucks.

I got trough the story quite quick, and allthough its an enjoyable story, theres really not much more to the game.
Yes you can go for achievements and what not, but after you finish the campaign theres nothing else to do.
No side quests, no collectables to discover, no gear to loot, nothing that gave darksiders 1 and 2 such replayability.
Im hoping this changes with the dlc's because the game is just an empty shell of what darksiders used to be.

Though the song selection is small, the songs are good.
The gameplay is very smooth and its a lot of fun to play.
I hope that more songs will be added for free and there will be custom songs in the future.
Only downside i can see is that this game is so much fun my face is sweating alot to the point where my lenses are fogging up after some time
