The game itself might be good, but it forces me to use the Ubisoft launcher which means I can't in good conscience give it a good rating. I CANNOT STAND HAVING TO USE ANOTHER LAUNCHER I HAVE STEAM FFS

Surprisingly fun game. Just listened to the soundtrack before I wrote this and felt oddly nostalgic :p

I will compare Fallout 4 to New Vegas and Fallout 3, because those are the games that I've played.
Fallout 4 is an awesome game, and due to the way the gameplay is compared to the other games, I think it will be easier for more people to get into the Fallout series.
I like the story, love the character customization, love the gameplay, the companions and how power armor works in this game compared to Fallout 3 and New Vegas.
I do however have some complaints:
I feel like the game didn't let me give my character his/her own personality. You can usually choose to be either nice, rude, or sarcastic, but it seems like you end up being a good person no matter what.
Another thing is that I liked knowing what I would say before saying it (Fallout 3 and New vegas showed you the sentence you would say if you chose the option, whereas Fallout 4 shows a few words that represents the sentence).
I prefered having a bunch of skills+perks, over the perk system in Fallout 4
The endings feel weaker. I'm not a big fan of the endings in Fallout 3, but I loved the endings in New Vegas, because you got to know what the consequences were of what you did in the wasteland. In Fallout 4 the ending just felt kinda ''eh''.
I don't really have anything else to say about this game, except that it was awesome BUT it wasn't the Fallout I fell in love with.
This review probably seems really negative, but it is truly an awesome game, it just lacks a bit in some areas.

I think this game is great. It has more of everything that was good in BL2 and more (including more handsome Jack). It was cool playing as the villians of the Borderlands history (I <3 Nisha). The story is awesome and even though Jack is already kind of messed up the story makes him more sympathetic! One of my favorite additions in this game is that there is basically more character to every character! Whomever you play as usually has some kind of response to most of the things said by characters in main and sidequests. This is my favorite Borderlands game!

Awesome gameplay and awesome characters!
If you like FPSs and co-op based games this is definetely worth a buy. It's even fun playing all by yourself!...
Also get yourself a strong corrosive weapon.

The first Borderlands game is fun, but a bit tedious at times. The cartoon-like graphic style of the game is awesome and the characters in the game are awesome. If you aren't all that interested in the Borderlands lore you should buy either Borderlands 2 or the pre-sequel instead. But if you are like me and love pretty much everything Borderlands related it goes without saying that you should buy Borderlands GOTY edition.
I wish there was a bit more voice acting, but they fixed that in Borderlands 2 and the pre-sequel.
