It is a good gladiator management game, you can either control the gladiators yourself or let the AI do the fights, even AI fights are fun to watch. After you finish the campaign you can play the endless mode. Some things like new gladiator classes and a hippodrome were patched in and more updates followed. The soundtrack is also awesome.

Most of the negative reviews of the game are not about the game itself, but about the developer who hid political messages in his patch notes.
