The game is totally playable as is, not a whole lot there, but with care could become something real good. The controls use mouse movement with numbers to doing actions, like heavy or lite attack, stun or use your special, also to eat, and drink. Space blocks. You also have a tracking skill and night vision, at least the one I tried did. ui is very simple, shows symbols of hunger and thirst in a circle with a line attached to a circled heart, the longer the line is the better. Gives cooldown info on attacks, and tracking or night vision on. Easy to find food and fights are fine, some dinos will be quicker to attack, others wont, some will be very aggressive. Also mutated ones with other powers like electricity. Not a very large map and dosent seem to have any leveling system, or quest, just fight, survive, eat, drink and go from day to night hours. Also has a nice display exhibition of all the games dinos(you only get to play 3). What happens next with this demo is hopefully lots more, and I may get excited about that.

I must say this game kinda snuck under my skin as I slowly realized it had more to it than I thought at first. You party is build as you want, 6 in a group and no classes. now it gets even better.
You are lost in a maze of connecting portals to different maps, (lands) and with each layer or portal you enter thru, you will get points to add to your characters build.
As in;
Weapons - mace, dagger, etc.
Professions - alchemy, tailor, 8 types.
Skills - lockpicking, linguistic, perception, 3more.
Magic - holy, chaos, fire, plus 5 more.
And finally the best one -Super- does nothing but gives additional points, which can be distributed in the above four categories as you so chose. You want a bad ass fire mage who swings a good staff, or sword, you can do it. A barbarian who loves to cook, go ahead.
Also you have personal stats to add points to when passing each layer, as in strength, accuracy, wisdom, intelligence, vitality, talent, speed, and fortune. (Also by putting points into wisdom you get more magic points and other conversions which will eventually give more super points. Which down the road is Hugh mungus.
This all gives a personal touch to your builds, and good fun in trying to put a perfect party together.
As far as a story, other than being told to enter a portal, and more pestering from the same person who says they are working at the orders of the KIng, there is little story, but found messages add some anticipation of what the hell is going on and eventual discovery.
Its the draw of making it deeper and deeper thru, just surviving, that makes the game grab and hold me. you can find a portal sometimes very quickly on a new map, and just go on to the next one, but the loot, materials, knowledge, and experience which may be very needed, will be lost. Dont rush, but also remember that the next fight you have may be your last.
If one of your party survives a fight, and you find a reincarnation well, you'll be o.k. and hopefully you have some stamina, food and magic to go on.
You can play hardcore, which is the way the game is meant. Or change gameplay by removing/adding rest, or make more Softcore by adding access to reloading last save,(Start of the map).
Leaderboard is done by points added from score of each layer, for final tally.
I found a well once, where you could throw whatever you want into it for additional points, lol, strip down boys and girls. the loincloth is getting tossed, we have a good armorer, just dont throw all the mats down.
Great game, the graphics meh but np, map is a nice size and you can scroll view easily and see entire map, movement is easy by Kb, but mouse works everywhere except into unknown square, as when entering an unknown room, you will have to step in with kb. No real animation, is beta, so not sure of things in future. In fight members are in set spots, but can be moved forward or to the back of party. its a great party based tatical dungeon crawler right now.

added bother, if mob dies and you already put orders, why are they not smart enough to pick another target, thats about it, I understand the loot and backpack need and wells of sacrifice, but could we somewhat break down armor and weopons, for even more choices in the game?

Cool little game, it does everything well enough to have a soul, and I like it and will even better if camera would work better with target lock. I like to swing my view, even if fighting in another direction, here it locks your pan.

Bought this on release, and have played a fair amount of it, so I obviously enjoyed it. I dident always like the camera, but np, and it did get somewhat repetitious, if you feel playing the same map or mission at harder lvls is repetitious.
I am at missions 14 to 16, and missions all the way down to 7 could use more stars. so lots of game, and choices of gear, from drops.
Crafting is about, but some mats seem not easy to get, depending on what I want to upgrade, some I have none of. As your powers increase, you are free to build your type by ranking up your chosen abilities as you want. Abilities are chosen under 3 catagories, prowness, fortitude and cunning, and you meet criteria and purchase more or upgrade with earnings from missions, which can take grinding.
I checked it out a couple of weeks ago one night, my characters were there, but the map had no stars, so I uninstalled thinking dead. So today I am checking steam and see its free to play and whatnot, so I reinstall and yay map is full of stars and all good. Store was all out of stock, so guess its just game as is, starter pack only I guess, which is np for me. too bad its on server and just single player, but it is up and running. P.S. nice of them to give me another starter pack for returning. For me has lag issues.

I was initially surprised upon noticing that its online, and felt stiffed at the price for what type of game it obviously sprang from, also how simple it seemed. I continued to play, even though I prefer something deeper.
It does play well, fairly fast gameplay, easy to pick up, and kinda fun. Shows signs of actual party fighting, and not just clicking. random potion and scroll drops aid in the crawl and thoughtfull prestocking before entering dungeon is something you should do.
Picking from an available area that has a number of subdungeons with star ratings for difficulty. Your party moves freely in the random made tile dungeons with movement in 8 directions, your entire party occupies one tile and can do one move at a time, such as frontline melee attack or rear line ranged attack, use item, or move, all are moves that take up time from the protection you have initially from the dungeons lethal miasma, your protection can be lengthened with items and drops. You will also find coffins of fallen heros whose souls can be returned upon finishing dungeon, than you can keep them if you like the stats, or feed them to your party members for experience. you can switch in and out all hero's owned into party or make 3 different parties and store 2. You may also switch their job, such as warrior to rogue. You have no choice in stats, they lvl on their own. (dang)
Fun so far, so I give it thumbs up.
I add that the game to me, is more like a chess party dungeon crawler where your party makeup and its different builds by type and rarity of adventures is what gives your choices of actions, which, when you move into a shocking blitz of monsters and your next choice of action will be left to prethinking of bag stock and adventure type and position.

Control is no issue, just use keybinds to switch characters, use q,w,e,r, for powers, space for amulet, rings do their thing, just picking the right ones is the task there. Mouse to aim and move, couldent be easier, and responce is fine, unless you get mixed about who your on or something dumb. Tab also switches who you are controlling.
Game has easy starts to chapters, shows lvl you should be to go. the higher lvls are tough, and I couldent see you letting it play itself with out being killed in a few seconds, without using proper strategy. is Not a clicker. more like Diablo with chapters and diffeculty settings.
I do have complaints about map size, a bit small in spots, gets tight to fight in, but adds to battle sometimes. Not really a problem to backtrack to a crossroads or path split, as they are not too big of maps. Sometimes pathfinding on non-controled avatar gets blocked for a sec or two by pets, but works pretty good.
The inventory is painfully small, and with just the opportunity to junk, no crafting that i have found, but have not finished the first run thru yet. would be nice to pull gems and have bank or something, and ability to craft.
I wondered at first about this party control, but when fighting the troll, opened the fun up, as I adapted to control and had a blast fighting him, the game is too easy in parts, but as it does ramp up, I see no problems so far with pacing.
I will continue to play, I am enjoying it, and looking forward to getting deeper into it.

I do not read Chinese, but couldent resist what I saw, it seemed to contain just the formula I want in turn-based group building games. And it does work wonderfully, with as much as I can gest from it, without understanding the language. Although reading would add all the tidbits of info and immersion, so I am missing out on all background stats and details that surely I could use..
I would recommend waiting for the english translation, although you can figure much out by the normally used mechanics of moves and skills, use of magic, melee, exp gain, purchases of weapons and armor types , drops, etc. Who gets what and uses best takes a bit of thinking, but fun anyways.
Seems just arena right now, but I have not gone too deep into play choices. and again cant read a thing, but understand symbols and the usual context of things.
Definite recommend watching this one.

Game sorely needs to be optimized, but other than that very cool, get lost in desert np, just die, never did yet so not sure.
have camel,horse, and armored car transport. I have noticed more since last try, just needed a wrench, which I built soon.
Moon was in the sand, trying to tell direction is hard, but doable. waste bullets or crouch and get close on animals, and be sure you made a skinning knife, all good, and if developers keep puting, I keep playing. dont waste time chasing rabbits too small a kill box, find gazille, water is something to worry about. I find it totally fine, if optimized and more added, which they seems to be doing.

Also I can see me raising here, already ready for war.

The game has fine graphics, had no problem with movement or combat, seemed very good. I dont follow the stories much, just grab the quests, and they are not to hard to find or do(has search map), unless bad spawn rate, and others after same mob.
The tutorials are there, but while just playing, the upgrading and hatching took a bit to understand, need lots of grinding but seems doable without cash shop, just depending on luck.
Not a bad game at all, but if you dont like grinds(I hear that enough,sheesh,play something else.) also sounds like your in an arcade, obnoxious half screen warning. And little inventory for what you have to collect, so go for what you need.

Different enough from whats out there in hack and slash, rpg, exploration, crafting, and questing type game.
The climbing and flying mechanic takes a bit getting used to, but it is really quite good, and gives you great travel ability, with nothing left unsurpassable, or unscalable. They do have teleport points as well to save time.
I really dont know a great deal about the game, having fun learning(lvl 8), other than a few mental pauses in the crafting area.
The combat is fast and responsive, and once you understand the skill use, its pretty fun.
Voice acting is laughable, and ui is someone in the same vein, but other than that a very solid game, no problems with it running or lack of content it seems.
As far as content, there are beginning quest that lead to a chain it seems, killing a troll to loot a box, get the humans and others to raise their liking of you. Armor and weapons of furthering lvls to find and make, getting the components. Finding magic buffs for weapons and armor., learning new skills by experimenting with controls. And more content to come, so for its price nothing wrong here, just could have had more time in the oven. The developers are asking what we want made better and worked on, and seem to be very intent on making the game a good one.
