Historiography is a bit rough. Reduces an extremely morally complex civil war into a more simplistic narrative. Does capture how terrible the Russian Civil War was for everyone, especially civilians.

Also makes the Legion out to be more heroic than real life. In reality it was the Legion that betrayed the Whites, backstabbing them in exchange for a safe passage from the Reds through their lines, not the other way around. Also the Greens, while supposedly fighting to protect the peasants actually spent most of the war butchering Jewish people.

Other than that gameplay is good. Succeeded in capturing what it felt like to be in such a desperate situation as the Legion. It was a fun time.

It's adorable and hilarious

Decent plot, good art style, standard metriodvania gameplay. If you liked Hollow Knight and want more of the same then this is for you.

This has been one of the most incredible gaming experiences I've ever had. I can count on one hand how many games I've played that so seamlessly combined gameplay, world building and narrative into one extremely compelling package. This has been an emotional journey I'll remember for years.
