i've tried playing HoI and CKII but I guess the interface kills it for me, I find it so obtuse.

No i'm loving Civ IV, I'm last in every score, but i'm having fun just building stuff.

How've you been anyway?

I don't know how you play those Grand Strategy games, I can't make heads or tails of them.

don't give me that crap. expeditions was a HARD game, up there with dark souls easily. like any game of this type you need to start it twice, once to get owned & once to learn from getting owned & build a 'team' that can bounce back from it. iirc healers were INCREDIBLY important, protect yours, kill theirs ! & of course the tank, but that's just normal for any RPG. well i guess you were weighed, measured & found wanting by expeditions lol. re. valkyria, hoping to get back to it this weekend, think i have 2 battles left but i'm stumped on the battle i'm on now (but unlike you i won't just give up & blame the game lololol).

i still haven't played starships, but by all reports it's terrible =(

Thanks so much for introducing me to the wonders of Paradox games man. With me buying up Victoria 2 and HOI3 they will now own my soul lol.

Haven't played much of Gal Civ in awhile as I'm waiting for a bit more features to be switched on so it's possible to play a bit more of a diplomacy game for it too but I'm playing these kinds of games much more now as I'm used to them on the big screen.

It's funny too. We could play Civi5 another 300 hours and still not have achieved all the achievements ;)

I am curious to see wether I'll ever surpass your record Civ5 time :) lol ;)

picking up slowly, work will dropp off soon as uni picks up so my spare time will increase with only 2 units to do. have gone back to batman AA after picking up AC for cheap during the sales, and i still have valkyria chornicles to finish. so lots to do
