Collecting video games, game merchandise, comics, and anything tech related has always been a passion of mine since I was young. I've always loved sinking my teeth into a new story line, a new multiplayer, a new escape from the world. Not that it's a bad place all the time, I've just been taught it's always nice to just take a break and unwind. I've slowly come to learn that while yes, physical copies of games and tangible memorabilia are incredible, there is only so much space one can put it all.

Over the past almost 10 years I've grown really fond of collecting on Steam. When my boy Odin grows up and he starts gaming himself, he'll be able to jump on here and have a vast array of options to choose from. That's an incredible feeling. Maybe an excuse to buy more games, but hey, let me be.

My Mom and Dad were a little bit of gamers themselves. Many memories of couch camp outs playing Sega Genesis, Sega Saturn, DreamCast, and every other system they got their hands on. I can only imagine watching your own kid play some of your own personal favorite games. Something I look forward to everyday. Mom was a Zelda fan and Dad was a pretty much all over the place with his gaming. But he sure LOVED playing Ready 2 Rumble boxing. With their age they've definitely slowed down on what we would call our normal games we play. But that's the best part. We all can like our own things that bring us joy. Mom is more of the slots, puzzles, and coloring on her iPhone person nowadays. While Dad is bankrupting everyone he comes across on PokerStars on his laptop.

I myself love just about anything you could throw at me. FPSs, RPGs, Third Person Shooters, Sports, Racing, you name it. I'll definitely give it a go. I cannot believe I'm playing Call of Duty again, but the new Modern Warfare has grabbed me pretty good! A lot of fun with friends!
