Really great mod and probably the best main story of the series. Great writing, quests, and well balanced for melee and ranged with a good difficulty curve too. No English voice acting, but I highly recommend playing with original Polish VA (very fun and expressive and you will learn a few words. Some of the actors worked on The Witcher 3 too). I did not encounter any bugs and it's a bit less janky than Gothic 2 but with the same charm. A few downsides are lack of enemy variety, game world too similar to Gothic 2, and mage builds being less viable on first playthroughs.

Pros
+Great writing and quests
+Lengthy campaign with a really cool final dungeon
+Balanced difficulty, and the classic Gothic weak to strong progression
+Well balanced melee and ranged combat
+Large and beautiful main city
+You can find permament stat boosts but dont need to worry about using them at the wrong time like in Gothic 2

Cons
- Magic is not as viable as other gothic games. No mage faction and most spells are found hidden in the world, so not a good idea for first playthrough
- Enemy variety is the same as Gothic 2 with no new enemies. Be prepared to fight a million field raiders and scavengers again.
-The game world has a few unique areas, but generally looks very similar to Gothic 2. Exploring can be boring especially if you play this right after.

just saw this sitting in my library and barely remember playing it. It's dead so no recommendation. Go play Rising Storm or something instead.

I am mostly recommending this since I got it from a free giveaway the other day. It's a cool game with a great art style, spooky atmosphere and creative level design. However, it only took me about 3 hours to beat and I think the full price of $24.99 CAD is way too much, especially since there are 3 DLC missions which I read were cut from the original game. The game is also quite linear and not very difficult. I can still recommend it if you get it free, cheap, or with DLC missions included because it's still a pretty fun and unique few hours.

So like many, this was my most anticipated game of 2020. My hype did start to wane with all the delays but I still had hopes that CD Projekt Red would deliver an immersive open world RPG experience like they did with TW3. Unfortunately the game is severely lacking in most categories, with the well-written main story and characters being one of the few qualities returning from CDPR's previous games.

GAMEPLAY:
The combat in Cyberpunk 2077 is pretty good and I like a lot of the weapons and implants, although I wish there were more cool implants like the arm blades. Most of them just increase your stats a bit and don't give you interesting abilities. This is the same for most of the perks in the skill tree. Hacking feels kind of lame and a lot of hacks that do damage feel very weak

The open world looks very detailed on the surface but is actually pretty shallow. You can't find unique loot like the Witcher sets in TW3 and there are few enterable buildings. Most of the open world missions are repetitive and lack variety, like shooting some criminals or disabling an out of control vehicle. I also hate that despite all the different gangs in Night City, you can't join or do missions for any of them. The best missions in the game are relegated solely to the main story and main story characters.

STORY:
As for the story, it's actually pretty great. The writing is good and dialogue especially feels very natural and makes sense for every character. Everything involving Johnny is awesome. The side missions you do for the other main characters are also good. My biggest complaint with the story is lack of choices. Your character has a lot of dialogue options, but they all end in the same result most of the time. It reminds me a lot of Fallout 4 in that regard. The main story is also pretty short and although the endings are good, they feel sort of the same and I think there could be more variation like The Witcher's three unique endings

GRAPHICS AND PERFORMANCE.
The game looks great for the most part. Reflections and lighting at night time are sick, as are the models and animations of most of the main characters. The rain also looks and sounds awesome. My biggest gripe with graphics is the sun. Sunny days are very washed out, with the sunlight being way too bright and covering half of the sky. I actually skip the time to night a lot because of this (It's set in NIGHT City after all)

Performance is probably one of the worst thing about the game. I've had broken missions where I had to reload, characters getting stuck, AI being dumb etc. I won't go into too much detail because everyone else is talking about what a hot mess performance is, so just know that it sucks at the time of this review.

CONCLUSION:
Overall, I cannot recommend the game because of not only technical issues, but also the shallow and un-immersive game world and side content. Maybe when it's fixed you could get it on sale to play through the story at least, but this is far from the best choice for an open world RPG due to the lack of character choices and lack of reward for exploring and doing side missions. Hopefully CD Projekt Red can turn the game around with patches and free update.

It has awful optimization, server issues, and is a huge buggy mess even worse than Ark was on launch. Do not buy this.

Wtf is this and how are they selling it for $60 with the Metal Gear name? This is a complete abomination with confusing UI (including one of the worst looking main menus I've ever seen), clunky shooting, and just boring and unrefined gameplay in general. I honestly don't know what they were trying to create with this game, because it feels like a really shi*tty Resident Evil clone.

Get the most racist, homophobic, sexist, and generally offensive players in gaming and give them 19th century weaponry with 30 second reloads and you have M & B: Napoleonic Wars. It has 200 player sieges, a morale boosting musician class, a glorious soundtrack with about 40 epic classical music tracks, naval combat with rowboats, and some of the biggest battles you'll see in a multiplayer game. And of course, a hilariously awful community who will do their best to offend you, the mods, and everyone ingame.

There are also clans called regiments you can join if you actually want to use teamwork and organization on private servers. I have not joined one myself but they do fun things like organized line battles with formations and stuff. If not, the official servers are always a hoot.

The biggest downside of this game is that there is no progression or unlocks of any kind. None of your stats will be recorded, like K/D ratio or multiplayer achievements. This makes the game mainly good for just playing every now and then to experience the sheer scale of some of the sieges and battles, and the hilarity of the community. Overall though, it is definitely worth the $10 or less if it's on sale.
