This is an awesome game that I can tell i'm going to be putting a lot of hours into, especially as someone who absolutely loves games like Darktide, Vermintide, Deep Rock Galactic, and Lethal Company. Everything I love about those games is here too, really good pve, funny comedic moments, and even better with friends.

There was definitely some frustration with the servers initially but now that the Devs have done some back end patching and increased the server capacity to 700k, I've not had a single issue getting into the game and diving feet first into hell.

It's the ODST, Starship Troopers, Terminator experience I've always wanted and it's awesome.

Get to your pods Helldivers, and Spill Oil, Super Earth needs you and Democracy isn't going to spread itself!

One of the best co-op multiplayer experiences available on the market!

ROCK & STONE, it never gets old!

One of the most innovative and fun DLC's released yet! This is probably going to be one of my new favorite races, everything about the way you build your empire is so fulfilling and it actually feels like there's meaningful choices to be made with how you expand, what settlements you build, and how you upkeep your labor.

You can play wide and build up a giant empire of factories and mines or you can play tall with a tightly linked balance of mines to factories.

And all that before you get into the battles you can fight with chorfs who have such a fun mix of units and some of the most satisfying artillery in the game.

This is an easy recommendation from me!

This is the Warhammer 40k, Guardsman simulator you've been hoping for!

Play through the prologue, get inspired and yell "I AM A WARRIOR" with your fellow rejects!

Then on your first mission, get paired up with two other sharpshooters and an Ogryn and run into a Beast of Nurgle, "I AM A WARRIOR!" you scream as the Beast gets closer, your Ogryn charges in valiantly, drawing it's attention as the 3 Sharpshooters unload into it with the wrath of 1000 flashlights!

You stop mid volley and stare in horror, the Beast of Nurgle just ATE your Ogryn. All three of you panic and quickly fall back, just praying that your volleys are enough to give the beast indigestion, and thankfully it spits out the Ogryn... who goes flying off a cliff.

Finally the beast is dead, but you're terrified of what other horrors lie ahead, "I am a warrior..." you whisper to yourself, hoping the emperor can hear you, and that he knows you're doing your krakking best.

10/10, having an absolute blast and can't wait to level all the classes to max and put in as many hours as I did into Vermintide 2.

This excellent still holds up if you play Vanilla but the amazing modders really take the potential to 10!

But I think the most important thing and the reason i'm writing this review is the fact that the devs are still putting out maintenance patches to fix things in the game.

Truly amazing to see this game get love and fixes to this day!

Foxhole is a game I dearly love and have invested hundreds of hours in, it's a game that's chaotic and you can invest as much time as you like and with many different ways to find satisfaction.

However it's also a game that is plagued by a dev team that doesn't communicate enough and doesn't respond to player feedback, they also typically prefer to add new systems to the game as opposed to fixing and improving what's already there which leads to a lot of feature bloat and older systems feeling outdated and punishing.

Additionally the community of this game has a toxicity issue, it isn't too bad most of the time in game, but lord help you if you ever visit the subreddit, the official discord or happen to cross the wrong group of players.

As fun as foxhole can be, it's one of those games where you need to take a mental health break from it if you find yourself getting too invested in it.

I've put 2000+ hours into this game, PLEASE SAVE TF2!

Finally the wait is over, fantastic experience so far!

Definitely play the prologue, it's a very unique and super narrative experience that helps set up the main game!

The (Im?)mortal empires map is set up to be HUGE based on information in the game files too!

The new career is great and lots of fun! 100% worth the money if you're only in it for the career itself, if you want the challenges and cosmetics you can also get the bundle, the base package is already taken into consideration for the price so if you buy the career first and then decide you want the challenges later the price is reduced for the bundle.

Personally I bought the cosmetics out right with the career because I wanted to support a game I love and the challenges are tricky but fun to pull off and the cosmetics look great and it's nice having something to work towards!

Definitely a great buy for someone who loves that melee combat and are fans of Bretonnia!

Fantastic strategy game and even better with mods!
