Could be one of the best games if they released more updates. A big update is promised to be coming soon, this will be the determining factor on the future of Deadside.

I love it, but as it is right now, we've had only a few worthy updates in years.

Get it on sale and you'll get at least 200 hours of fun out of it.

Yet another incredible game destroyed by dumb devs. Such good memories from this game, I wish someone with half a brain would re-release it with modern graphics and without the dogsh*t combat update that ruined the game all those years ago.

Game was really fun in the beginning, but has since been taken down due to "unforeseen circumstances". 1 week turned into 2 and now its going on 3. I was willing to stick around and wait it out as I thoroughly enjoyed the game.... but was permanently banned by overaggressive and power abusing mods on their Discord. I highly discourage anyone from going there and voicing any concern or opinion. If it does not fully align with the moderation team, you will be muted for 24 hours and if you voice any criticism again it will be permanent. Do not even attempt to call out the abuse by the moderation as then its a 100% permanent ban.

I refuse to be a part of a community that is already being destroyed by this unfortunate situation with the game going down for 3 weeks, but more so because the community that is left is being silenced and is being forced to walk on eggshells in the one place we should be able to gather, discuss the game and our voice our concerns.

I really wish the best for the game, but am unsure how many players will return after this. Not to mention the tons of people they're banning for simply asking why the game is down, voicing their concern and being met with permanent mutes.

Argothehunter is single-handedly destroying the very small remainder of a community we have left. The staff are doing the game a even greater injustice by keeping him on the moderation team. He has a massive ego and if you question it (like I did) you will be perm muted. Hes a fragile little man who was given a tiny bit of power and now exercises that power on anyone who dare question him or the game in any fashion.

TLDR? Powerabusing mods, game went down for weeks and we were hardly given any insight into it and now the community is falling apart. Game probably wont recover sadly. Shame because it is a really great game.

Edit: Game was solid. Bad decisions and a lack of development ruined the game, and now they're taking it off steam and making it an NFT cryptobro game which is the dumbest thing I have ever heard. Crypto bro's do not care about the game, they care about making money off the game, as they should.

Yet another instance of a studio who had gold on their hands and wasted it. It will be on Epic Games (which allows crypto games) and if I had to guess it will fail there too. The problem is not necessarily the game, its the devs.
