As someone who only has played Smash Bros since the 90s, I thought fighting games wern't for me. Got this game on PS5 to humor a friend who was excited for it. After finding the command list for Guile actually not intimidating, but positively manageable, and even the Supers were just normal moves... done twice... I started actually giving it a real try.

Starting using simple tactics of only learning 2 spiecals, throws and sweep kicks, literally no combos and started getting wins on ranked matches in the rookie league (where I belonged!). I found out this game is like a game of rock paper scissors, once every second or two, and who wins gets dmg in! Not just about huge button inputs, but reading your opponent, I started having FUN!

Practice mode is the best practice mode I've ever seen in a game too if you like to see how moves work, and even test frame data stuff!

I hope others give it a try if they don't mind accepting many loses as the start, and playing ranked from the bottom with the rest of the newbies!

Nice Sci-fi take on Slay the Spire. Cool introduction of attack lanes for shots and spaceship parts in. Cute little story and art, solid soundtrack.

One of the best WoW clones out there. Single player storyline is heavy on solo play, but still is a good amount to do with friends too! Great community. (pvp could be richer)

Probably the best fantasy CRPG out there. Excellent voice acting, and writing. Almost ever corner of this game feels fresh and engaging, no filler pieces. Now that they fixed and made coop better, that is also a great chaotic time.

The classic.

The tank fighting is great. Love flanking people and blowing them up. Fun to see the xrays of the kill shots too. The airplane stuff im horrible at so meh.

Roguelite about defending a town night after night against the zombie waves of the magic nuclear Apocalypse. Turn based combat vs the large hordes you get equally large turns to smash em. Key to winning is trying to make the most efficient killing team, and use actions on idea clumps of enemies.

A bit difficult, but losing a guy isnt the end of a run.

A great Sequel to Far: Lone Sails. It is the same themes and idea, but just expanded (and also obviously a... water ship... instead of a land ship). Beautiful stark wordless storytelling returns, and is just as fun to manage your vessel as it putters along with you tinkering with it as you go with light puzzles along the way.

If you love fishing minigames, like fish tetris loading up your boat, and don't mind deep dark waters with unknown things lurking in the night... then this game rocks.

Its the reverse of Tetris... where blocks have weight! And instead of building down by elimination, you build up by building an actual tower!
