I have seen the beast with my own two eyes. Not directly. No you can never look at it directly. It only appears in the periphery of ones vision. Eyes a deep bottomless ebony. Mouth curling at the edges into a wicked snarl. Teeth like yellow daggers and horns twisted and gnarled. But when you turn to face Him- a puff of smoke. A faint smell of rot and ash. A pit in your stomach that feels like a black hole. And I swore that I heard a deep grumble as I was drifting off to sleep the other night. I could not move. I was paralyzed in my own bed.
