Steam Discussion Moderators are actively protecting Game-Banned cheaters, discussion-banning anyone who tells the Game-Banned cheater, that they are a cheater, and they will get banned again, if they try to ban-evade by buying a new copy of the game on a new Steam account. FacePunch looks the other way, because both they, and Steam make $$ for every ban-evading re-purchase. Avoid this garbage game at all costs.

The game is good, it does what it says; You can drive American Trucks, in America, pulling American Trailers.
Gamepad controller support is good, Wheel and Pedals make it just that much better. Add a shifter & button box, and the immersion is excellent. With hundreds of hours, and thousands of dollars invested in the game and hardware, It's still fun, and I do not regret spending the money.
- Be advised, if you need HELP and try to get it in the Steam Forums, you will be met with a handful of very knowledgeable people, who are also very abrasive, and very arrogant in their knowledge. If you can get past this "gatekeeping", you can solve just about any problem that arises, except help with 3rd party "paid" mods .. just don't bother asking.

After all these years, there are still very few other games that even come close to the DayZ experience ..
Five years after release, and it is still being actively developed. This is a POSITIVE. As much as it is, the Devs keep adding more. You can play so many different ways, and never get locked in to a character, or bored with a story line ..
You want PvP Death Match, you can do it. You want Wilderness Survival with Wild Animals, it has that. You want to be an Elite Sniper and solo, have at it. Want to build a Base, and have a big Team that dominates the entire map, it's here. And, with the ability to use the Bohemia/Steam provided resources, you can even set up your own personal Local Server, with EASE if that is a Play style that interest you, or you want to learn to Mod/fiddle with Code.

The game itself is Okay, the DLC is a little expensive for what you get, and minimum PC specs are far greater than the specs on Store page show, so if you're going to buy/use ALL the DLC, you'll need 64Gb+ of RAM and a large SSD drive .. The "community" on the other hand, is toxic AF, filled with "veterans" and "gatekeepers" and "fanbois" of Mod Creators who attack anyone with a different point of view, and get away with it, because CO cares more about generating Hype and having "fans" that generate more revenue, by promoting mods, that they claim not to support, but rely on to keep the game alive, because they can't be bothered to implement certain tools in the basic game. It's a vicious cycle, and the Devs/Publisher/Moderators and Steam are all complicit in allowing it to continue.
-I recommend the game if you want a casual relaxing city builder, but I do NOT recommend using the Game's Steam Discussion forums to look for help. There is nothing casual, or relaxing, about that cesspool.
