I realize its a click game, but there was very little content, and beyond the same animations on loop not much of that either. No actual scenes, no finishing, no choosing different positions with each girl. Just a select few scenes with 3 second animations on loop.

If this was a Demo, I'd say it was good. But as a finished game, There's really nothing here.

I beat the game in less then 30 minuets, and 99% of that was just clicking fast.

Right, so this game has been a controversial mess, but here is a comprehensive review without all the BS, on why you should not buy the game.

So the game play itself is a lot like inquisition, there are a few changes but it plays pretty much the same.

One of the main issues however is that the game does try and shove political agenda down your throat at every turn. (There is even a scene where your specifically ask if you want to make your character a transgender of some sort, not at character creation no, this is literally a required part of the game you can't skip).

This kind of thing exists all throughout the game, and it seriously ruins the immersion, not because it is there but because there is no reason for it to be where it is, and from a story perspective, it makes 0 sense and was clearly put there "just" to virtue signal and force the player to experience it.

Beyond that, the game is a bit on rails. Yes you can run around some and explore, and the game does reward you for this, however in general, its kind of like Zelda where the play through is concerned, with puzzles, etc and items you need to progress the game through to get in order to access certain area which you found earlier on but couldn't get through. (This is in fact something I liked about the game).

Your choices after several play through's I found to be meaningless. Yes there are 3 different endings, and your choices do add up to select one or the other of them, however the actual game play is very linear and your choices rarely have any effect at all and when they do the consequences are mediocre to nill effect on the story. So basically you can make choices, but in general they are meaningless with no effect on the story or in game, it roles out the same or very close to the same no matter what you decide to do. There are a VERY FEW choices which have actual impacts on the story, but these are very few and VERY far between.

Character Creation is in depth, but again this is one of those areas where it was clear the developers were obviously wanting you to play a trans character or an LGBTQ character. All of the presets fro both men and women look like either Gay men, or Women that look like they are ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, and the faces you have to choose from (all of them in the selection) were clearly not designed by a dev and were placed there by someone hitting the "Randomize key". (You all know what I mean by this). It's tragic, and abysmal and shows obvious laziness.

Yes, you can customize your character to look like a decent male, and Female.

Graphics are nice.
Game play movement and combat is decent.
Voice acting is sub par for this series and studio.

The story line itself is ... well... Meh. It's not the worst, but it's definitely not the best, and I would not call it good. A lot of things are not explained and much of the time your basically just "Going with it". The writers were obviously lazy, and when you add the forced political PC bs, it just becomes absolute cringe.

The last thing, and this might be the most important, has nothing to do with the game itself, but the moderators of the forums, and the studio itself. They constantly abuse their powers and delete any thread which seems to point out valid criticisms, and if you mention anything about the PC in the game or ask about it, they immediately Perma ban your account from posting.

The studio has clearly hired mods to censor the forums, rather then manage it, and when I put a ticket in about abuse of power, the CS who responded was essentially like "Get ♥♥♥♥♥♥ Trump Lover, Your Pedo President can't control this game". (This is literally what they replied to me in the ticket.) I was banned from the forums for asking if the studio had responded to all the complains about the Forced PC in the game, and if they were going to address it. Which is why I put the ticket in for the mod abusing the power.

It's not a bad game itself, but you really need to ask yourself if you want to support this kind of behavior from a studio before you buy it.

Alright so this review is Negative pending action from the developers in the full release, for the following reasons (A full comprehensive review will follow full release):

The game centers around building, so until this is fixed you almost literally can not play the game.

The building system has a severe and overlooked flaw. Unfortunately, because the game has no way to automatically remove plots from afk players. The plot seems to remain forever. Meaning there is no decent building areas anywhere, and all servers will be listed as "Full" or High" even when there is literally no one actually playing on it.

The buildable areas either need something like archages tax cert introduced which must be paid weekly, and can not be front loaded (to ensure a player doesnt plop something down and go afk for months or weeks). Or the building zones need to be removed and allow building on the entirety of the map.

Even witht he suggested fixes above, some sort of decay or removal system is required. (maybe like V-Riseing) where after a certin number of days without log in, players can destroy and loot your stuff.

Obsidian is true to their history with this game. It's Fantastic. Funny, Serious, a real Sandbox Open World RPG with real Choices where actions have consequences. It's also a really good looking game. Controls are smooth, Story is excellent and makes sense, Lots of stuff for explorers also and tons of side quests and things to do.

Cons are I really wish there was more a point to the crafting system. It's mainly just weapon and armor mods and upgrades.

Can't wait for #2 to release.

You should definitely get this game.

A pale Shadow of, and, Completely Unrelated to the first game.

This is not Lords of the Fallen. This is a Deadsouls/Eldenring Wannabe copy which literally fails at everything it tries to do, except look good. Combat is ridiculously difficult where bosses are concerned (I mean seriously even puts dead-souls and elden ring to shame).

Lore is confusing, Doesn't follow the first games lore, and is a totally different Universe. Controls are also a janky mess and the camera is infuriating.

I expected More. A lot more.

I got bored after 3 hours and was falling asleep at my keyboard.

1. There is far too much to micro manage. It feels like a chore rather then a game.

2. The systems for industry are too limited, especially where resource acquisition is concerned and how little resources are actually available to the player. Where farming is concerned, it's an absolute nightmare. The entire system of crops only grow in certain regions needs to be scraped, simply for easy of maintaining your town.

3. because of the material spread, your required to spread out so much it is virtually impossible to get anything done or defend any particular area. Despite the claims for realism, this game is as far from reality where mineral acquisition and industry are concerned as you can get, it seems to be made intentionally more difficult then it needs to be, probably to increase the content, but all it does is make the game a janky frustrating mess.

If you want a Game like this, Get Banished. It is 1000% better at literally everything this game tries to do. And developers reading this, you may want to review that game and take notes, then fix this mess.

I really wanted to like this game. And if the issues are resolved I'll change the review.

It's a Fantasy game which combines many other games into a seamless experience.

The graphics are fantastic, it's a combination of an animation art style mixed with 3D modeling. Unlike many games which have tried this in the past, with Wayfinder it seems to work really well.

The story and lore make sense, no holes and everything is explained. The story quests are also all voiced. And voiced well.

The combat is excellent, animations are really good as well. There is a lot of customization especially with painting your character and weapons. Controls are excellent. Please NOTE however that the game is actually "designed to be used with a controller", "NOT" a keyboard and mouse. Although you can use a Keyboard and mouse it is clunky and not as fluid. So use a controller.

Weapon/armor crafting is straight forward. And no nonsense. Though you may have to grind a bit for materials.

The game is easy to learn, and has an open world sandbox aspect. Though there are loading screens.

The only "Con" I have found thus far is that your locked to choosing a "hero", although you can switch between them and any hero can use any weapon set. Hero selection is a bit akin to skill selection and appearance selection, although each is exceedingly customization.

I'd Give the game an 8/10. It worth the price and has smooth game play.

Ignore the negative reviews, and give it a try.

First off let me say that the mechanics of the game, weapon graphics etc are not the problem. The games functionality is fantastic.

The reason I can't recommend the game (for now anyway), is as follows:

1. The color pallet and art style gives me a headache to look at, everything is washed out and super bright at the same time no matter how you adjust the settings, everything looks like it was drawn for children. (Yes I am aware this is an animation style for the Korean/Japanese/and Asian crowed) But it is done very poorly in this. Like the developers could not decide on whether they wanted animation, or 3d models and the combination (in this game is done badly) its glaring and hard to look at for any length of time.

2. The story... is nonsensical. Makes 0 sense, and is basically a word salad which mixes a whole lot of things but has no actual plot line or meaning, nor does it give any history for why things might be the way they are.

Basically, you destroyed the world. And some God has decided to give you another shot by putting you in charge of another world.... and humanity, ok... but why, how, what is the gods reasoning, what is the purpose, where is the actual story here?

It's nowhere to be found and these questions seemingly are never answered.

3. The game is well for a better lack of word too quiet. I mean like sure there is music the normal Japanese soft high pitched stuff. But ambient noises are non-existent. And the same track of music repeating over and over every 5 to 10 seconds gets old real quick.

There is no voices, it's all text and type. This is common with JRPGs like this so i'll leave it at that.

I played off and on for a few days, steam apparently didnt actually record my full play time, but I eventually had to stop playing after about 20 minuets each time because of the migraine the game gave me.

I tried, to give this a good shot I really did as it looks really interesting. But I play and review 100s of games and I simply can not recommend one that gives the player a migraine, especially with the other issues.

I really Tried to play this.

It's possible if you just use the map for 90% of it once you get fleet commands. (While you basically do nothing with your actual ship etc.)

However because the controls are so Janky and outdated, actually playing the game is damn near impossible. The developers need to seriously look at a decent game in this genre, and fix their controls.

The game tries to control like "Freelancer", and Play like a 4x real time.

Unfortunately, it fails at both, and miserably.

My concensus, is:

"Barely Playable"

Mainly due to the control schemes and so many other options missing from the game itself, which are all found in other games like this, around the same release time.

The story is also janky, and seems half assed. Even the writing doesn't seem to have been reviewed as there are grammatical mistakes throughout, and while you can follow the story and understand it, it's just in general bad writing.

I wanted to like the game, I really did. But the Janky Controls and Janky Story ruined it for me.

These developers should have played the "Homeworld" Series, and "Rebel Galaxy" before making this to see how this is supposed to be done.
