Excellent survial game with incredible atmosphere and unforgiving survival gameplay mechanics. The Long Dark is one of those games where you will have a difficult time adapting to but once you learn the gameplay mechanics it will become the one game you will be playing for hours. The premise is very simple, survive the bitter cold and harsh environments by collecting food, hunting for wildlife or even purify water by boiling it. The problem is you are constantly on the edge and brink of death because of natures elements and local wildlife. Simple things like a blizzard or even a fall from a rock can mess you up pretty bad. If you like survival games like stranded deep, rust or ark, this is a must play but be warned that you will probably freeze to death many times before you master the perfect survival skill but in the end this is the whole beauty of this game, overcoming the difficulties of the cold (: 8 out of 10 wooden sticks for the campfire xD

Incredible atmospheric and dark but in a twisted sense. This describes this game in a nutshell. Alan Wake feels like a homage to mistery movies and books as its pretty much inspired by the source material of Stephen King and David Lynch. If you are familiar with both of these then you will enjoy this game even more but even if you are a complete newcomer there is enough tension and scary moments to see this nightmare through.
The gameplay relies heavily on the elements of light and darkness which means that you can weaken your enemies with your flashlight and dispatch of them with your guns. The story is very twisted and a big homage to David Lynch's cult series Twin Peaks. If you like horror games with a good story and fantastic cinematic visuals then this is a must play. 9 out of 10 flashlights :)

Lightning fast action game done by Platinum games and directed by the godfather of surival horror Resident Evils, Shinji Mikami. With a studio and a director like those two you know its gonna get good :D
Just like with Metal Gear Rising (another Platinum gem) just throw away the story in this one as you are here to power slide and punch robots in the face by using a super cool darpa developed suit that enables slow motion when things turn south.
Basically Gears of War with robots and very evil russians that microwave San Francisco from orbit.
The gameplay is fast and fun and the PC port runs way beyond 100 FPS so strap your darpa suit on, light up a cigar and turn on the acceleration because you are in for a wild ride. 8 power cores out of 10 :)

The Sci-Fi Dark Souls with an exoskeleton twist :D
Do you like Dark Souls ?
Do you like cyberpunk and the movie Elysium ?
Do you like running around in heavy gear and deliver mayham ?
If all of yor answers are yes then this game is for you.
Basically this game just jumps straight into the action with very little story and an emphasis of dark souls combat system, the twist is that its a sci-fi industrial setting and you are duking it out with robots, drones and other exoskeleton users.
The PC version runs pretty decent and fluid and the controls are very responsive even on the keyboard and mouse but I highly recommend playing this with a gamepad much like dark souls. Coming straight from dark souls I love this one so far and if you enjoy a good challenge and dont shy away from getting two shot by even lower enemies than you will most probably enjoy the ride. So put on your exosuit and target some exposed body parts, 8/10

Awesome game in the veins of System Shock 2 and BioShock with a mix of Dishonored thrown into it and a piece of Deadspace. I love how this game is centered around exploration and shortcuts much like the Didhonored series, you basically explore a huge space station called Talos I which was infested by the Tyhoon, an unknown parasitic shape shifting organism. The best thing about this game is its free exploration mode which means you are free to move around the whole station at your own pace and explore things in the order you want to. Must buy for fans of Dishonored, BioShock, System Shock 1-2 and of course Dead Space. IMHO one of the best games this year 8/10

Despite some flaws and bugs this game is fun to play once you get the hang out of it. If you like games like Far Cry 3 and Sniper Elite or liked the previous two entries in the series then you will probably enjoy this game. Its basically an kinda open world FPS with decent sniping mechanics and fun bullet time cams. Don't listen to the bad reviews out there which say that it has long loading times, on the PC it loads up faster than on consoles and I kinda think it was optimized badly for consoles anyway so the PC is the platform to go. If you want a straightforward action FPS with good sniping mechanics than this game will deliever despite its buggy problems and a few other issues, my verdict is 7 headshots out of 10 xD

Dynasty Warriors Berserk Edition!

This should be the actual title of this game since Berserk and the Band of the Hawk is kinda misleading and people unfamiliar with the Berserk lore will think that the main protagonist Guts, is called Berserk same as with Link not being Zelda and Samus not being Metroid.

Nevertheless as mentioned in the title, Koei Tecmo pretty much used their Dynasty Warrior template and emulated it to create this game. The game itself is pretty decent thou, the characters animations look great and fluid and the over 2 hours anime cutscenes offer a great deal of backstory. The soundtrack is also quite good surprisingly.

This game is in japanese only with english subtitles of course and personally I don't mind it since I am used to watched subbed anime all the time but I know some people will get angry because it doesn't offer an english dub. Overal great fun so far since there aren't many Berserk games aside from the old Dreamcast game Berserk Guts Rage and the japanese only PS2 title Berserk Milenium Falcon aside from that I am glad to see this game on the PC and therefor would recommend it to any fan of the Dynasty Warrior games or of course Berserk fans. Final score 7.5/10

Return to the classic horror!

So finally the seventh installement in Capcoms long running Resident Evil series is here and surprisingly it manages to return to the classic horror elements that made the series so memorable starting all way back in 1996 on the original Playstation. Spooky house, check. Limited ammo, check. Unforgiving enemies, check. This game has by far the darkest story of all Resident Evil titles even Code Veronica, you don't need prior knowledge of the RE universe at all as its only loosely connected to the previous entries. Do yourself a favor and don't skip on this one as its one of the best games I have played in early 2017 and a very solid entry to the series. Solid 9/10 Highly recommended!

Do you like music ? Do you want to ride your music ? Do you have fast ninja cat reflexes ? if all the answers to those questions is yes, then this game is for you :D

Despite poor performance and bad optimization on the PC, this game remains awesome!

Dishonored 2 is to the original game what Bioshock 2 was to Bioshock, an awesome sequel that refines the gameplay and improves on what made the original so great. If you have a beefy PC and are using one of the Nvidia 1000 series cards then you will be able to enjoy this game, otherwise stay away as it was badly optimize and will occassionally drop from 90 FPS to 20 FPS for no reason.

As for the story, you can play right from the start with either veteran protagonist Corvo or his daughter Emily which both have their unique skills and ways to approach things and by that I mean there are a lot of ways on how to take an objective being it the lethal or non-lethal way.

Overal as with the original Bioshock 2, this sequel does deliver better gameplay but doen't quite live up to its predeccesor, nevertheless this game is a must play this year for fans of stealth ^^
