At this point, the only reason I even consider this game anymore is solely cause I became a lifetime member years ago, when the game was still good. These days however, I can see little use in continuing. The story is fantastic and well written, and the space combat is appealing. However, the ground combat is less so, the endgame is now excessively grinding for materials, or doing missions that you have no direct hand in. In a word, the game has become boring after the release of new romulus.

Pick it up and dive into the main quests for a fun adventure, but after that, don't bother staying for the endgame.

It is rare I see a game this completely broken. You will not survive past the first hour of play, guarenteed, even on easy.

Ok, here we are, about 6 months from my last view of this game, and it definately feels like they got it all together after scrapping the previous code. The rename only works in favor, as this is not an MMO, it is simply multiplayer. There is still plenty of work to do, but things in general are on the upside.

Not many games have been able to impress me with this kind of reversal.

It is not often you find a roguelike where all the tables are even from the start. Where the skill of you, the player, makes all the difference, and not simply how much time you have spent making your character stronger. That won't happen in this game. On top of all of that, and no matter how much gear you find, how good a weapon you have, how sharp your skills have become. There will always be something that can kill you.

As day breaks, I spot hiding in the nearby woods, a creature that is both man and beast. To my luck, I find the target unawares, at rest. Creeping in closer, spear in hand, I get in close, so close, hoping that the beast will not notice. The rain works in my favor here, and before the beast has a chance to act, I pull back and plunge my spear deep into the creatures eye socket. Your life, can end just as easily.

After the battle, I take out my trusty pocketknife and get to work, pulling the flesh from the bone, and using my skills to keep the pelt in one piece. Trophy in hand, I sling the pelt over my shoulders. Both as proof of my skills in combat, but also, I will not freeze. Not tonight.

If you like LoL, then you will probably like this game.

As for me, I am going to look elsewhere. (Personal opinion)

It seems solid and flexible at the same time, with a good amount of customization. Still, at it's heart, it plays like LoL
