Unfortunately as cool as the game looked when I first got it, I very quickly found it too dull to keep me playing. If you're a fan of atmospheric survival games, then you would probably enjoy this. I can't recommend it from my own experience myself however.

Dead Space 1 is a better horror game, Dead Space 2 is a better shooter. Both are absolutely fantastic games and I'd recommend them to anyone looking to witness people getting blown to bits by their babies or a suspicious amount of treacherous Australians.
