A Damn good game.

Pros:
+ Great exploration, many caves and minor dungeons to find and clear out
+ Pacing of new abilities/opening up of the map is well done
+ Level system is fantastic: respecing is available from the first level-up wherever and whenever you want to try new things
+ Bosses and enemies are well designed, memorable patterns stand out
+ Tons of secrets on a rather large map, magically feels smaller by the end to help collect the final few secrets
+ Surprisingly nice story
+ Cute friends!

Mehs:
~ Some upgrades feel pointless, are best used as crystal holders till you have enough for damage, range, and attack speed
~ The fourth main dungeon is a letdown, but is intriguing in its mystery

Cons:
- The final two main dungeons feel less than good, the first three dungeons are the standouts
- My friend said it looked like a newgrounds game, in a somewhat negative tone
