I'm just a gamer, sharing my experience on games I play. As a reviewer, I consider myself an amateur, at best. But that doesn't mean it doesn't add up to something...

I started writing reviews about games I played, more out of compulsiveness than anything else. But as I wrote more of them, they got more detailed, more thorough. Eventually, I got noticed by like-minded individuals who also wrote reviews on Steam, and cared about well-written quality reviews. I got more involved, met other review aficionados, joined a community, even came across people who write for websites and host YouTube channels. Today, I'm proud to be alongside other people who make an effort to write serious and useful reviews on Steam.

The Reviewers' Guild is an exclusive support group dedicated to helping and encouraging Steam reviewers, amateurs and professionals alike. People share their reviews with one another, help each other write better reviews, suggest best practices, discuss the place reviews have on Steam, and generally help other members with questions and issues they face. If you write informative and detailed reviews on Steam, you're welcomed to apply to join!

I started CJ's Opinions seeing I had complete strangers wanting to add me as friends just to follow up with my reviews. I don't consider myself to be anything special, but I decided to create my personal Review Group to allow those who want to be notified of my new reviews. I recently created a Curator , too, for those who want to see my review about a game when on that game's Steam store page.

There are many games I have that I wish I could play co-op or multiplayer with other people, but a wife & child shakes one's priorities. Nevertheless, I'm always opened to play with other players... eventually! If there's a game we have in common you'd like to try out, don't hesitate to ask. While it's true that most of the time I won't be available, I will keep you in mind for when I am available.
