This tactics game is such a unique entry to the genre. Every skill acting more as a puzzle piece to solve an elaborate puzzle instead of a tool to output more damage that the opponents. And a world that has a surprising amount of effort into its story, characters, and lore that I was not expecting from the trailers. Some missions can appear daunting with the amount of threats to deal with; but as you approach each action rewind by rewind the puzzle comes together.

Also defenestration is my new favorite word and I will be using in my every day life from now on.

While the game is rough at the edges, the core gameplay and atmosphere is so great the rough edges can be completely overlooked. I was going to argue the game could use a map, but after finishing the game I think a map would ruin the exploration aspect of the game.

The game is short, with my first run only taking about 5 hours, but the price is low enough to justify the length and it is worth every penny. I only hope that the developer decides to add more content or continue the series in the future.

Payday 3 is a disappointment to the series. The developers appear to have no interest in fixing its problems. The gameplay is fine, I still prefer Payday 2 at the moment but Payday 3 could change to match Payday 2's quality and quantity of content. But without major changes to the games online framework it will forever be plagued by full servers and disconnecting issues.

I dont know how I have put this many hours into this mmo. Its not a great mmo, however it is better than most free to play mmos, but I have still put an absurd amount of hours into this game and I'm not a huge fan of mmos. But if I can point to anything that does keep me coming back: there is an actual story, while not that interesting, is more than what most mmos would do and will keep you busy all the way to the level cap; cosmetics can be bought with in game currency that can be earned by playing the game; and daily quest and bonuses are not an all or nothing situation where one missed day will cause you to ruin some big xp bonus or something. So I can recommend it at least because you can easily leave this game with a full wallet since it doesnt have any pay to win mechanics.
