Just can't get enuf

Starting the game: Fine, it's on sale, so I'll try it out. It might be ok...

90 minutes later: *crying a single tear and watching me and my companion through the whole adventure walk into the light* I'll see you on the other side...brother...

If you're worried about turn-based combat, don't be.

If you're worried about no Kiryu, don't be.

If you think the series has completely jumped the shark and given itself up to flashy gimmicks to keep afloat, don't.

This is everything you love about Yakuza, with a new coat of paint, and a new lovable dope and his friends at the helm. It's zany, it's thrilling, it's touching, and it tells me that the series still has a bright future. Give it a try, and remember...

GO YOUR WAY! BELIEVE YOURSELF!

I say "WHOOOAAAAAAA, DUDE" because it's my reaction to seeing a team of veterans with a little over a year make one of the greatest RPGs ever, and one of my favorite games, while their veteran publisher couldn't manage that same feat five years later with an infinitely larger budget and staff.

This gets my "Suspension of Disbelief" nomination because of a certain moment halfway through.

This moment marks the turning point of the game's story and tone, and is a major shift for ol' Billy Boy.

Some have called it ridiculous, trashy, schlocky, and stupid.

...loved every second of it.

And the rest of the game is pretty swell, too.

It's cool.

.............Do I really need to say anything else? It's Half Life 2, near universally praised as one of the greatest things ever. If you're on Steam, you have literally no excuse to not play this game.
