It is a good game. You should buy it if you like survival building games. I wouldn't say its a city builder, although you do build a city...its more beaver centered so its a water management game with survival city builder also.

Its good and fun. I lose hours playing it.

It is almost 1.0 and I have owned it since it entered early access.

It is a fun to play polished educational ant RTS.

I have been playing for a while. I'm writing this 7372 hours in. It is fun and informative. They update it often.

Get this if you just want a tiny more boost to your crusaders and plan on using Jim for his buff....its "ok" but you won't use him in formations with "low numbers" of crusaders

Get this if you need a DPS. The buff to hermit will make him a great DPS for a LONG time...also makes sasha very nice too...and she is a great buffer....

TL;DR = This game is fun. Buy it if you like "Tycoon" games.

I've played for 2 days and racked up 26h so far. This game is going to be a time sink. Time flies by and planning on going to bed at midnight turns into going to bed at 3am instead.

The start of this game is a lot more difficult than the middle or end game. Your first few games will not make any money. After a while though you will be rolling in cash. I am at the point now in the game where it is about time to start over. I have the largest building. I have 5.4 billion in cash. The year is 2026. I have 4 MMOs and just make addons for them. I produce my own games (that is where the money is). My servers hold over 30 million users. Every game I release is 95% or better. I can't remember the last time I didn't win "game of the year" during a year in which I released a game.

This game is insanely fun. I like it more than Game Dev Tycoon. It is slightly shallow right now though. Early game is fun because making money is difficult. Mid game is fun because you can FINALLY buy the stuff you have been wanting in early game and start rolling in cash. End game? It's fun trying to see how efficient you can become and how much and how fast you can make money, but gets boring pretty quick. There is nowhere to put the money. It just piles up. I am hoping when the "console" dept becomes unlocked (It is not available yet, they are working on it.) that it might take care of the end game needs.

If that is true. I believe some balancing is needed. Perhaps decrease the flow of time while keeping the same production speed so that your "years" move more slowly? I have all that money in 2026. If consoles are the endgame, why would it be so expensive to produce one for me? when atari, nintendo, sega, etc all started around the same time I did...I want to be able to be nintento. Consoles should be affordable early in the game so I can choose to focus on game or console or engine development. That way the endgame will become investing in the other avenues that you didn't focus on previously.

I'll update this when it isn't in early access. Hopefully you can choose to focus on game, engine, or console development at that time and all of them would be a viable choice to specialize in.

Buy this game. It's awesome fun.

This game is amazing. A great game. Extremely depressing and emotionally disturbing. It's like a tiny window into the hellish life created by modern war.

Working through those things through the game is very fun.

It says right now 6h on record. What it really is though is more like 2. I had to keep taking a break from the game. Pausing it, going and thinking about what is happening in the game, coming back for a day or two (ingame), repeat.....

Very fun game, very disturbing game, very fun game...made my heart ache...in a good way I think.

This is the best city builder I have ever played. I have played every city builder since Sim City (the original) when it first came out. I love city building games. Buying this for any price is worth it. I can't put into words how great this game is. It's the triumph of the genre. An amazing game with so much workshop content that it's worth the price of 10 games.

If you like computer games, mobile games, console games, any games at all. Get this game. You will not be disappointed.

This game is not a PC game. It used to be. In version 1.3 is was a nice PC game with a fun multiplayer mode, and interesting story/quest mode. Now it's crap. The "Voyages" are like lemmings and insanly annoying. The "normal" single player mode is a timewasting mobile game that is....it's hard to find the words to describe how soul crushingly bad it is.

Using hundred dollar bills as toilet paper while working a minimum wage job is a better investment of your money than this game.

I might update when it goes "final" build. But at the moment. Wipe and flush. Don't buy this game.

Love this game. There is no "end game" it is just a survival and city building game. If you play the tutorials and have a modicum of common sense it is very easy early game. Get some food, get some firewood, etc...

The difficult part is mid to late game. Placing your buildings correctly for expansion. Dealing with disasters. Walking the tightrope of survival and expansion. Do I have enough food for the next two winters? Do I have enough homes for the next generation? Is my food supply varied enough to prevent sickness?

I can sit down at this game and find that hours pass by in what seems like minutes. There is always something that needs doing, and never any down time. Anyone that loves city builders and tycoon games should get this.
