This shouldn't cost money. It should be free, just like with every other Blood & Gore "Expansion"

It is a nice addition to the game and I have praised KCD base game before. But this just feels unfinished. It fits in great when you enter it right after the battle of prybislavitz. However It misses much,

+ The "hunt" for unique villagers that gives buffs is fun
+ Making desiscions about the town and what is allowed is handled well (but could be more)

- Misses any quests that would come with being a bailiff. It is mentioned bandits raided supply carts. You cannot do anything to impact this. Would have been nice to see
- It is mentioned several times that the town will be expanded beyond it's original capacity (this is not done).
- The villagers are generic and the home is as well.
- You have to scrap several buildings in favor of others.

All in all it is fun fanservice but that is it. It could have been so much more,,, 5/10

Yes the there are bugs. Yes some feel somewhat outdated. But ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ is a lot of fun to go around in this world as a nobody who has the same knowledge as john snow. Gradually learning what is going on. Not only that, I feel like this is the only RPG that closely follows the sidequest structure properly that made the Witcher 3 such a succes. Some quests aren´t as great but there are always a great number of gems to be found. Definitely a must buy for any RPG fan out there.

Although I am not as far ahead as other people. Nor am I the biggest Total War fan (though I have played a few). I must say, it is quiet a good game.

I willl touch on a couple of things:
Siege (and Settlements), Units, Tech, Factions and Map (Mechanics).

Siege battles are good, they have created quiet some unique cities (if only there were more). Though I do get the points behind the smaller settlements and them being relatively undefended. I find it really frustrating that 1 unit can just run around the map and quickly take them over.

Units, The units all feel solid. As they do with most games. if you are looking for weird diversity (AKA Warhammer) this might not be for you. The new recruit mechanic is something that takes getting used to but in my opninion does add a nice touch to the immersion of the game.

Tech, Although maybe not as massive as other titles I do like how clear it is on what you need and what you get. Where with other Total War games I struggled to grasp what gives me what (Only to then go to the wiki) I rarely had to take this course of action in Thrones of Britannia.

Factions, One of the problems I always had with Total War games (except Warhammer) is that you don't really see much of a variety in factions. Yes I enjoy some of the unique mechanics each faction is given. But It always feels a bit lackluster. I usually get the feeling of

Hey, that is one viking faction, and there are some other vikings faction.

It just doesn't feel that diverse as you have with the grander type of Total War Games.

Map, The Map looks great. The Mechanics the offer in terms of keeping you army supplied and making sure your populace wants to fight is all looking amazing. The events feel fun (though sometimes repetetive). It is one of the beter Total War maps they have made when it comes to stuff to do (don't mean size)

All in all it isn't the best game, but certainly not the worst. I feel like this is the perfect game for those that want to try out the genre but are afraid of all the stuff there is. While also offering some new things for veterans. It is just a shame that it lacks in depth and divirsity in some areas. Although the 8+ DLC, that eventually come will maybe take some of that away.
