If you were a fan of the original this is a nice few QOL stuff added as well as a new sub faction groups besides hiring pirates to attack people you don't like. The big thing for this is the new active map having your space lanes change as the game progress break up a lot of the old turtling that could happen. It can take a bit to get your head around it but once you do it lets you set plans into motion then watch as they pay off hours later into the game.

Ok hear me out. This game is SFW and has a great story and a fun survival game play loop. The storie is only about 6 hours to beat but is tight and fun. I was Blown Away with how compelling all the characters are and for the price i could not be happier with this purchase.

First off i will say that the Tutorial for this game is not the best while it does tell you ever thing you need to know its a lot of reading and with other players get to taking there turns while you still trying to figure out how the game works.

Once you have a good under standing of what your doing and you get into the flow of the game it was a lot of fun reminding me of a board game nights with the friends.

Thou i will say if you have no idea how America politics work you can have a hard time trying to get your score to go up. And very much so if you don't have any idea of how politics are going in 2024 this game is very much a time capsule of this year.

The character creator did let me make a few crazy people and have them show up as AI was fun. (Making a candidate whose goals were world domination was fun)
