Early Access Review
Supergiant has done it again for fans of Hades.

Well worth supporting the studio for full price even this early on. It's not on other PC stores or Game Pass so don't hesitate to get it here unless you want to wait for 1.0 release. The game doesn't have a proper ending until 1.0 but still has plenty to grind for in the meantime. Gameplay is addicting and the improvements with each update will make this another must-play masterpiece. Bring a controller and have fun!

MUST PLAY ONE MORE RUN!

Free trial of Fallout First recommended to those coming from the TV show. Game is free on Amazon Prime until May or goes on sale for GOTY for around 7 dollars.

I'm having fun after fixing FPS - see online posts about ini fix. Went from 60fps to 144 fps. This is a chill looter shooter in true Falllout style with more perk points than ever before. Try not to spend your life savings on microtransactions!

Deep rock meets Halo: ODST meets Warhammer 40k meets Gears of War meets YOU

EDIT: PSN account requirement after launch... lame! Should be optional for those who already purchased. Incentivize don't punish players.
EDIT 2: Freedom restored no PSN requirement. FOR SUPER EARTHHH!!!
EDIT 3: 180 countries banned (no PSN countries) THE FIGHT CONTINUES!

Act 3 is a bit buggy (crashes and issues loading saves) but Acts 1 and 2 are worth the price alone with all the sheer character and dialogue choices. The dating is better than Mass Effect 3 with the scenes lol
Highly recommend to those new or returning to the turn-based DND RPG.
Devs are constantly updating so I'll return after playing their Divinity 2 Original sin in the meantime for Act 3.

Wait for sale:
Gameplay is subpar with Dead Space 1 a Gold Standard compared to launch gameplay mechanics. Melee Focus in Callisto is marred by bad camera and dodge mechanics. As soon as there is more than one enemy, you know you'll take damage due to fighting the game.

Story and premise are good but stretched out due to bad game mechanics, long crawl sections, and pointless side corridors with no reward for player curiosity.

Performance needs improvements, the enemies tend to start FPS hitching. PC had a rough launch.

Only buy early if you want to support the devs for their podcast (really good) and similar future games.

Watching a Let's Play of this game's cutscenes is much more enjoyable than playing it unfortunately.
No New Game+ yet or DLCs. I would recommend the base game if you really want it, and to watch the DLC in a video because by then the Gameplay will wear you down.

DMZ and Warzone 2 FTW!
Season 2 should be huge in terms of balance for DMZ new players and Warzone 2 returning to the tried and true 1v1 gulag.
Campaign was 10 hours of fun and phenomenal visuals.

Grab a few friends for the most intense CQC combat in Unreal Engine 4 you can have.

The 6-28-2022 Update upgraded the enemies to John Wick Difficulty. Your chance of success is 1% again Babayaga. Use riot shields and pray you survive.

It's still really fun, but the enemies are superhuman.

Edit: Until they address the issues in Digital Foundry's video, this stays negative. Hitches / performance not fixed on PC after 2 years. On console the frame rate is more steady.

Elden Ring is the best iteration of Souls-like games from FromSoftware themselves. I'm having a blast as a Tarnished in this immersive world that's familiar yet different. The DLC is simply gigantic adding about 50% of the base game's content in the form of a new map and 100s of gear items. Only thing stopping this from being 10/10 is the PC performance.

Pretty fun VR MMO. Using Proximity chat is a blast and partying up with strangers is surprisingly fun (especially when you meet via force feeding each other noodles). Population One gliding mechanics make traveling a breeze. I enjoy exploring for hidden items and upgrades.

Negatives: Stamina could use small buff; waypoints could be a bit clearer, party chat switching should be easier

Overall worth the money if you want to hop into an immersive VR MMO with future promise.
