I already owned this from dlsite, but I bought it again just to support stuff like this.
I think it's unfortunate how you'll probably have to patch it to get the full experience, but it's a great little hgame.

I can't support where this game is going, people bought this game for what it was and it's current devs seem ashamed of that. I'll be pursuing a refund if possible.

Inconsistent performance, have strange borderline unplayable framerate issues in MENUS that I did not have this morning.
Maybe buy it when it's actually functional and does what it supposed to, the last thing I need right now is another thing that doesn't work how it should, and I imagine you're the same.

(Will edit review if problem is fixed, I would like to recommend this game, but I can't in the state that it's in)

The best presentation and VR polish, bar none.
This game is an example of what AAA VR games can be, and should strive for, but also leaves a bit to be desired on the gameplay side of things by playing it a bit too safe.

I'd suggest holding off on Alyx till after you've played other VR titles you were interested in, because it will spoil you.
After I finished the game I tried looking around for something of the same scope and polish only to be disappointed, Alyx was a bit ahead of it's time and we'll likely need to wait a while before other developers have the interest or knowledge of VR to catch up and provide something similar.

The last hour or two especially was great, and really shows off the potential of VR.

Surprisingly good, but derivative game reminiscent of a grown up zelda title.
Each game in the series tries changing up the gameplay style and inspirations a bit but I found this one my favorite all the same.

Just a solid above average game.

Early Access Review
Nice game with a lot of depth to it's combat system, but perpetually unfinished.
If you have the stomach to wait for release, do that, but if not feel free to get into it now and forget about it for a few years till the devs finish another patch or two.

Will probably never be finished, but has more to keep you interested than a lot of AAA games I've played.
I wonder if we'll ever get Sui Generis.

One of those games that once you finish it will leave you looking for more of it's kind, only to be disappointed at how little you find to follow it up with.

There are some moments in the first hour or two that may tempt you to write off or drop the game, but if those aren't enough to deter you you'll find a relatively well written rpg that doesn't revolve around combat, kind of reminiscent of a tabletop rpg.
While I enjoyed the game, I haven't found it's replay value to be as great as expected given all the available choice, as the story itself feels relatively linear.
That said, some of the systems implemented in game are great, the way your different stats or ideas can completely change what you experience in game and what you are capable of are great, and some of the banter is fantastic.

Better combat than Dark Souls, stealth, better first playthrough overall, relatively pretty game sometimes.
Less replayability and rpg elements.

Chances are you already know if you want it or not, but if not hopefully this helped.

Very good game for the adventurous and those who like figuring things out.
This game will not hold your hand or tell you what to do, and you will miss quite a lot if you don't go out of your way to find it.
Chances are you'll miss quite a lot even if you do.

You can pretty much rely on this game to always have something you haven't seen or done yet for you to discover if you go after it, and the ascent to pixel godhood is rewarding and enjoyable, till you die to 2 pixels of polymorph liquid turning you into a mere mortal again. Oh well, there's always next run.

Enjoyable little lewd romp, has some occasional scenes that may bother those who are easily offended.
If you're into this sort of thing, just get it and try it out.

It's notable that the MC is significantly less insufferable than average, and that the game's romances are relatively vanilla.
