im printing my own first army of 40k, and this game is amazing while i do it

been excited for this

really fun, can play for hours on end, or you can play casually 30min-1hour a day no problem. for only $15 i can only recommend 100%

closes game to the actual tabletop, not the exact same, as the phases for the turn are morphed into 1 big phase, and the rolls i assume are calculated by %'s but im not sure if the % is the same as the real tabletop (50% = 4+ rolls, 33%= 5-6 saving role? again not too sure but i think this was the route the devs went).

as for unit stats, they make it just like the tabletop, and the map layout/gamemodes are just like tabletop. they also have a multiplayer tournment feature which im excited to try soon.

I will emphasize this point again, if you are looking for an exact 100% replica of the tabletop game, this is not 100% replica. It has only 4 armies, doesnt play exactly the same with movement/psychic/shooting/combat phases because it combines all those into 1 phase. And the dice rolls i believe are just determined by computer RNG with the same dice calculated chance.... however which edition this game uses the stats for on according to the tabletop, ive no idea....

if you want an 100% replica of tabletop, go through the hard trouble of tabletop simulator or another 3rd party website thats known for 40k tabletop.

However, if you are looking for a fun game which is as close to the tabletop outside tabletop simulator, this is the game for you!

This is also the game for you if you never played tabletop 40k, but interested in getting into the game and learning it.

though the game isnt 100% the same as tabletop version, it is pretty damn close, and good enough for a 100% complete new player who doesnt know how to play the tabletop AT ALL.... and this is a GREAT way for a new player to transition into the tabletop version, without paying hundreds/thousands of dollars/hours of painting and reading rules.... this game will give all those new players a great smooth easy way to transitioning into understanding the tabletop game.... though i stress again, some learning will need to happen if you plan to transition into the real-life tabletop version, but this game will make learning it MUCH easier.
